Good sized apartment. Location to shops Plenty of tea and coffee Dishwasher and washing machine.

Location to city centre and view from balcony was amazing especially at night with lights of city. Rooms furnished very nicely and check in very quick.

The apartment was tastefully furnished with modern decor and very clean. We had a balcony and a spectacular view of the city and skyline. It was sooo refreshing to come back to such a spacious apartment at the end of a day of sightseeing instead of the average hotel room. It was worth every pence!

Loved the Room -spacious, clean, big, comfortable. Lovely bathroom - plenty of towels and beautiful powerful shower! Loved the balcony and sky view.

The location is amazing! And we were on the 19th floor so we also had a fantastic view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen had everything you need.

We were first in a two bedroom apartment but there were quite a few things that needed fixing in the room which they did attend to and then gave us an upgrade as compensation. The beds are not comfy and they only have one person duvets.

The location is in city centre and just next to Manchester Arndale and taxi stand. Complete amenities in apartment that you might not need during traveling, including a washing machine!

Modern apartments with great views of Manchester city centre. Would definitely stay at the light apartments again. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Light apartments are in a great location for the Northern Quarter, printworks, Market St etc. They are nicely furnished with nice spacious bathrooms.

Girls, beware! There are no mirrors other than the ones in the bathrooms (and no plug socket anywhere near the main bathroom) which makes 4 girls getting ready for a night out a bit tricky! Worse than that after only 2 showers the hot water ran out!!!!!! Nightmare!!!! Two of our party had to shower in freezing water - not good. As per other reviews there are ongoing problems with the lifts. We were only on the 8th floor but we did pass some poor people lugging their cases up to the 19th floor!!!!

I like the fully equipped kitchen and the great heating system. There are adequate facilities like oven, fridge, microwave & above all, a washing machine/dryer. We could cook a feast and wash our clothes like we are at home. This made our trip to Manchester unforgettable. I think ' The Light ' one bedroom apartment is marvellously comfortable and spacious and I could imagine a 2 bedrooms would be even inviting……enough to entertain a whole family of 4 & 2 extra VIP guests to dinner. My grown up son agrees with me that we would book this hotel again next trip to Manchester. By the way, the ladies at the front desk are all very helpful and nice to us.

The staff were absolutely brilliant. So friendly and they could not do enough for all 5 of us. My husband had arranged champagne, strawberries and a box of chocs on arrival and the staff had decorated the room and had even done me a bday card. The apartment was fabulous, clean, spacious and with views to the city. The kitchen had everything you could think of. Location was less than a minute location to the Arndale Shopping Centre.

Tired interior, the lightshade in bedroom had the interior broken off in pieces, there was only one bedside table and lamp the other was missing, the sofa looked like had seen better days and was tired, outside terrace glass balustrade filthy as were chairs,the tv in living room could not be seen with sun shining through windows and there were no blinds or curtains to close to shut out light just a voile curtain, no dressing table to sit at to do hair/make up, No bbc chanels were available to view on the tv and needed retuning following the BBC's changing them a few weeks ago, which was annoying as we had wanted to watch something on bbc 1, Chairs in foyer also looked tired & shabby, instructions on how to shut patio door and work twoel radiator in bathrrom needed it took us some time to fathom out instructions would have been helpful customer friendly, there appeared to be a handset on wall at entrance with hand piece missing pressumably to contact reception? Would have been nice to get a note/card on table wishing you nice stay tellling you how to contact reception for any queries.

No spa...advertised as a spa hotel! Bedroom lamp lightbulb not working cracked dirty tiles in the ensuite smell of damp in the kitchen area damaged kitchen chairs no microwave balcony door unlocked and no key available No telephone to contact reception All of which was disappointing as I was travelling with children

The hotel was in a perfect location in the centre of Manchester and in my case so close to the office. I will definitely stay again and recommend to my coleagues. It has all the facilities of a hotel (towels, toiletries) and the convenience of a home (kitchen with basic tools).

If I would have to say something, I had some issues with the Wi-Fi connection as I could not find the provider, but at the reception they were very helpful and after a couple minutes all was solved. so nothing really negative, but as I found their standards very high I think this could be a little hic up they could work on :-)

Staff came deal with any problem immediately, helpful staff, really nice people. Even recommended a nice cafe to have breakfast at! Enjoyed my stay will come back again!

Lovely clean apartment. Plenty of room. Staff were helpful. Easy assess to shops and Arena.

The location and spacious room space within the apartment.

There were no air conditioning units within the apartment. This would put me off wanting to stay during the summer months as I believe that the heat would be unbearable. Also, no extractor fan in bathroom.

Loved the cleanliness, design and friendly staff. Great apartments.I would highly recommend staying here.

I liked everything, although when we stayed it smelled of eggs all through the building. This was nothing to do with the light, a sewer pipe had burst outside.

The room was lovely with a balcony on request and the Reception staff where very helpfull when it came to us wanting food delivered late at night.

The accommodation was spacious and very clean. The facilities were great, Bosch appliances, cooker, washing machine and dish washer. Nice linen and very friendly staff. Fab location right in the city.
