Lovely surroundings ,easy to find,nice rooms,good parking.

Stairs to room- no handrail on open side.rubbish in bin in bathroom from previous resident plus discarded linens on floor of wardrobe. Heated towel rail not heated and bathroom chilly.

Very relaxing, quiet place with beautiful grounds. Pleased with lovely hot shower and decent size T.V.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The Lodge was 'off road', so it was quiet. Also, as the rooms were not off communal corridors, it had a 'private' feel to it.

Price

Strange Hot Water system for a hotel, also central heating not working so using electric heaters. Exit to road is on a bend

A lovely lodge,breakfast was good in a room overlooking a nice garden. The room was pleasant.

The shower in the room was diabolical, more like a drip and the water was barely luke warm, After a long day this was very upsetting. The room was very cold, although there was heating in the room to use, it wasn't turned on. These are my two complaints shower and water! If these issues were sorted out then I would stay again.

Grossly overpriced at £72 b&B. Should be no more than £42. Listed as having a restaurant but its not open in the evening and food has to be ordered before 2pm. No other places to eat within walking distance. Not even a snack vending machine on site. The grounds are nice and to a good standard but, as I was only there in the hours of darkness, I only saw them at breakfast.

The first impression on driving in was very good, unfortunatly this went rapidly down hill.

Reception not open at times stated on web site. Did not encounter staff at any time during stay. Notifications found in welcome pack in room gave details of booking meals prior to arrival, this should of been mentioned on web site to at least to be given the opportunity to book an evening meal. Bathroom was very tired with cracked floor tiles, the shower base showing signs of mould & trim hanging off.

The hotel was close to all main atractions but at the same time you felt that you are based in the country site. Very good value for money.

Bed was comfortable

Nobody there when we arrived despite being given a specific time to check in, intercom linked to someone off site. Room was locked despite being told it was open with key inside. Luckily someone was in the house to let us in. we did not see any staff at all during our two night stay. Payment was taken the day before we arrived, although it was mentioned the card might be pre authorised the booking confirmation said we would pay during our stay

There was no reception and no security - the door was open to the outside and it was a really frightening experience to walk across the car park early in the morning knowing that there was no-one around. It was a motel - and not a hotel- and it should be advertised as such especially for females travelling alone. Anyone from the outside had access to the rooms and there was even a printed list of the guests outside the entrance so that anyone could see in which rooms females were staying.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix et endroit très calme. Bonne solution d'hébergement pour la visite de l'usine Land Rover à Solihull.
