location and view, temperature in the bedroom. cheap in winter (maybe in summer months too but that i don't know)
no in-house eating facilities (there are lots of restaurant around thou) which may be a disadvantage if you're travelling with family. very weak water pressure both on the 2nd and 4th floor. we were due some refund and promised to be called but neither of this has happened (4 weeks after we were there)
50 mtr. Verder ander hotel Dat was uitstekend!
It was in Hastings as I was checking property in the area.
Room ordered I did not get. Given a double room but no sea view. TV did nor work and no cup supplied for coffee. Room on the very top floor after many steep stairs.
Philip was wonderful , made my stay great..Thank you
Near the beach
Heater didn't worked
An alternative hotel was called and the Lindum payed the difference in room rates.
The fact that despite booking a room when we arrived there was no room for us!
Comfortable beds and freshly laundered linen. Fantastic sea view. Reasonably priced. Helpful and friendly staff.
Decor in need of a little TLC. Only one cup in double room so lent them mine. Some carpets could do with a clean.
Location and cost are very good for a night's stay.
It wasn't a problem for me as I know the area but there is no food available at all. In saying that, there are many places within minutes for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Friendly staff, nicely situated.
Water pressure low so taps run slow
The location was excellent as I was attending Claremont Spiritualist church. The bistro recommended at the rear of the hotel was also excellent.
The short way to bars, the shopping mall, anything was close and nearby. Nice people at The Lindum Hotel, the room was not ready made, but we got another room instantly.
Parking was underground and costed 7 pound for 24 hours. And you need coins. No cards accepted.
Really good place to stay. Very cheap and everything's alright :) The staff is great, amazing pal, good to talk with! They have heaters and electric blankets and basically all you need, just ask! Very friendly!
Can't complain, for the price it's a bargain. Right next to the station, nice view, spacious room and friendly staff. Would recommend!
THE ROOM I STAYED WAS CLEAN AND I CAN VIEW THE BEACH FROM MY ROOM
Lovely view from balcony
No parking with hotel. Street parking only
In a lovely position beside the seafront. Comfortable bed and adequate clean bathroom. Good value for the money. Friendly welcome.
It was a very long way to climb to room on the 5th floor with luggage. Fire instructions on back of door were faded and we didn't feel we would have much chance of escape if there had been a fire.
Perfect location, seafront and 2 minute walk to town centre. Beautiful and historic town, Hastings, with plenty to do. Hotel was nice and peaceful.
Spiral stairs to all floors, with no lift. No catering / restaurant, so you had to eat out / bring back takeaway.
Location was very good.
Bed was very uncomfortable, and duvet didn't fit the bed. Shower not attached to wall which was not very user friendly.
Location - easy access to seafront and Hastings new and old town. Room and bathroom were both a decent size. The guy 'on duty' was helpful, when asked.
Room not cleaned for 3 days. No heating in the room. Had to ask for replenishments (tea / coffee) each morning. No one in the building when checking out so unable to discuss our stay.
I was offered a free room upgrade as there were not many guests. The staff we're very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there. Beautiful sea views.
The front door was very difficult to open and the room needed a bit more heating.
The location is good as right on the seafront
This hotel was a joke! There was no reception, no hairdryer, no shower, peeling wallpaper, stains all over the carpets and the most uncomfortable bed ever! On top of that we were really cold and when we finally got hold of the guy running the hotel he told us that the only spare duvet had been lent out so we had to sleep with a jumper on. Oh, and due to the lack of a reception, someone left the main door to the hotel open at night and the entrance hall was used by a passerby to "relieve" themselves. Never again!!!!!!!!
The room was very old & dirty. Stained sheets, broken chair, cobwebs in few places. Cold as no heating available. No sleep due to the fact that we had room 1 ground floor next to reception so were disturbed by guest asking for assistance. Huge curtains but top opened so outside light was shining through all night. Definitively not a 4 star rating in the visit England brand nor worth £60 when breakfast wasn't even included. Never again!!!!!
The linen was clean
Room dirty Televisions in 4 rooms did not work Manager not open about the problems Had to pay up front Toilet seat in one room fell off
Compact and clean with a friendly host right on the seafront and bang in the middle of town. I will Def be using this place again. The owner Phil is a funny and chatty guy who will make you laugh
The convienence to the sea front
The noise from the street behind room 9
