Location balcony and view. Night person easy to deal with
No shower head only hand held option. Otherwise lovely
On suite shower room. Sea view
Window was behind the bed. No breakfast.
Good location near to the pier. Very cheap rates. Just two points. They don't do breakfast so you will have to buy it just around the corner but at these rates that was understandable. Also I was on the 3rd floor which could be a problem for someone who has difficulty with lots of stairs. But for me it was fine. Would definitely stay there again.
Loads of stairs. No lift.
Lovely place to stay central to everything Room clean and comfortable
We had top floor room this time and it was eighty stairs UP VERY TIRING !!!
Location was excellent, staff who we met were very helpful and polite.
No facility in the room we were in12, to wash hair, bed uncomfortable.
undoubtedly a beautiful view of the sea, a small distance to the center, silence during rest and friendly helpful staff
Great location right opposite the seafront and close to the town centre, shops & restaurant.
- The late check in time (4pm) and really early check-out time (10am) on a weekend. - We had booked a double room but were given two separate twin beds & mattresses put together by a sheet; they continuously separated leaving a hole in between, and the mattress seemed old and was not comfy at all.
Convenient location on the front and nice sea views from the balcony
Our room was on the 4th floor and there were 79 steep, narrow stairs to climb. We just about managed but some might not and we feel that guests should be warned about this. The TV was very poor quality and we had great difficulty picking up the Wi-Fi on our tablets. Secure parking is available in the nearby underground car park but it is expensive. The room was a bit tired and shabby (like the whole place) but clean and adequate.
The room was samll and cramped and in need of updating. The bathroom didn't have a shower just an over bath shower attached to the taps which sprayed in every direction. The stairway carpet smelt like it needed a good clean. For £60 it was ok but I have stayed in nicer rooms for similar. money.
Staff lovely v helpful
Scaffolding directly outside our window with the appearence of the builders/painters at 7.30am starting work!!!!!!!!!
+ very friendly staff + awesome view to the sea + nice and clean rooms
- one cup in the room was broken - due to the steet it could be quite noisy
The location on the seafront was great. The landlord was friendly and helpful with excellent advice for places to eat and see. The room was comfortable.
Friendly welcome and room was clean and functional. Location is 10-15 minutes walk from the old town and right on the beach.
Hotel was a bit tired, in need of decoration. Room was small and stuffy but if you opened the window there was a lot of noise due to the 24 hr taxi company across the road. Shower wasn't great, not overhead had to squat in bath and had little power.
Not too clean, filthy wine glass, tray holding cups covered in water from cups draining and no toilet paper. Really bad housekeeping !
Rooms were quite nice Close to the town centre
We booked one room with a sea view and did not get this Opposite a noisy venue so had to sleep with windows shut When we arrived we waited a while for the door to be opened and then was asked to go away and come back after 3p. We had to take all our bags with us
We thought the location was excellent and it was in the perfect location for the sea front and the seaveiw was nice.My partner thought the the hotel very quirky and she would be happy to stay there again.
The host was lovely, warm and friendly and very helpful especially when we called to say we were running late. The sea view was beautiful!! There was a car park very nearby and was near the town, so very convenient.
The room could do with a spruce, and the welcome pack was well out of date. The shower was attached to the bath, and just rested on the taps not hung up, so was difficult to shower/wash our hair.
Brilliant location, right opposite the beach, very easy to get to; manager and receptionist very helpful; free wifi throughout stay, although we were outdoors most of the time. Amazing high ceilings and period features, loved the huge balcony doors and sea view; large comfy bed and big bath in the bathroom.
We had spectacular thunderstorms both nights of our stay, due to the incredible heat, which was fabulous to watch, but unfortunately the balcony doors leaked the rain water underneath, and we had to use a towel to plug the leaks and soak up the water, especially as my son was on the extra bed on the floor by the balcony doors!
Friendly staff , always helpful .
Location of the hotel was really good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
our double room was very small, even the bed was smaller that standard double. Our room wasn't the sea view one, even though I ask for it when making the booking, 2 months earlier. At night it was very loud and we couldn't sleep. This hotel has a very late check in, 4am and very early check out 10am. Which after sleepless night was a little bit annoying.
I loved the location, open the window and there is the sea! Staff extremely helpful and friendly
Cheap and cheerful but vey basic!
Great value for money in an excellent location with beautiful sea views.
bed was a little hard.
Good location Good service
Very noisy - drunks outing and arguing at 3 o clock in the morning in the street outside
