The Liner at Liverpool  

- perfect location for visiting the city and do some shopping - ncie helpful staff

- very noisy just above the train station - even with windows closed we heard the trains coming and going and the calls even late at night and early in the morning - the door is not too soundproof neither - we heard everything that went on in the hall and people get noisy during the night while passing through the hall - the bed was a bit too soft

The location; their breakfasts were superb with loads of choices; the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and quite adequate.

Couldn't have the window open a little - it was all or nothing and the wind was so strong it made doors rattle when open fully.

Location next to train station and university. Good value. Friendly.

Smoker's rooms smelt a bit musty (I'm not a smoker but got given one). Bit noisy (other guests). First morning I was offered no help with breakfast buffet despite being on crutches - however the second morning everyone was lovely and helpful.

it is central to the theatre and shopping very friendly staff and very helpful, have stayed there before and would recommend to anyone, excellent value.

initial problem trying to park in hotel car park but resolved when staff aware of situation.

The reception staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Breakfast was lovely and choice was great. Our room was just amazing. We had the penthouse suite :) well worth the drive from Portsmouth and great birthday treat!

Quirky design. Being upgraded to a King sized double instead of twin at no extra cost. Good location close to shops

Some buffet breakfast items a bit cold. Some rooms noisy due to nearby Lime Street Station

Very comfortable beds, and well furnished rooms.very efficient, and friendly staff, both on reception, and in the dining room. Excellent choice at breakfast, and everything nicely cooked.Constant hot water.

There was no airconditioning, which might be a problem in summertime.The mini bar was not able to be used as a fridge for own items, milk etc..Small television.None of which really effected our stay.

I submitted a special request at the time of booking, for an earlier check in, between 12 o'clock & 2 o'clock. I got no response. I arrived at the hotel at c1.35pm, but couldn't check in until 2pm. I was going to a football match, so a little inconvenient.

Location is good easy walking distance to town and night life. Staff very friendly and helpful. We have stayed st the Liner in quite a few occasions

Spotless facilities, friendly staff, comfortable room and value for money.

Only a minor niggle was that the room was slightly warmer than most hotels, but a fan was provided if it was too hot for people staying.

Staff friendly, courteous and efficient, room good size and comfortable, with two chairs and dressing-table/desk. Buffet breakfast good. Meals in bar very good, reasonably priced. Over all a really good experience.

Nothing, really. The room was a bit over-heated when we arrived, but opening the window and turning the radiator off was easy.

The location was perfect being a two minute walk from the station. The room was excellent - and all the staff brilliant. I stay in a lot of hotels on business, and there are usually two or three things (at least) that I would change. But the Liner, I couldn't fault. One of the few hotels I can genuinely stay 'I'll certainly stay again when I'm in the area.'

Location is excellent, close to transport and city centre for shopping and nightlife. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Have stayed here on numerous occasions and will stay again.
