Both meals we had were great. There wasn't any chicken on the dinner menu but the chef kindly (and quickly) rustled up a chicken dish for my daughter! That was excellent service.
The reception 'nook' was not easy to identify and was a small but definite minus when coming in from a cold January evening.
nice room and bathroom hotel is nice
price was a little expensive as no breakfast
Low key efficiency and friendliness
Food was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely, nicely decorated. Great for a weekend getaway!
Very efficient and friendly staff, great restaurant and good location.
The traffic noise did disturb our sleep.
Cleanliness 100 percent. Decor brilliant Bottled Water with tea/coffee, and shortbread to die for. Lovely garden with tables near the river.
Central location for several attractions and borders towns, yet rural at same time.River bridge and views very relaxing. Room very good, clean, comfortable yet not fussy. Breakfast and evening meals excellent, good choice and well prepared.
No mobile phone signal - though this could be regarded as a benefit! Slightly inconvenient for us as meeting daughter from a wedding.
Need skimmed milk at breakfast
Great food in restaurant. Service exemplary.
WiFi variable in room. some of the bedrooms are small.

The tranquil setting -- a bucolic setting. Staff was very efficient and accommodating
There was nothing to dislike
Food, especially breakfast. Staff very helpful. Comfortable bedroom, with good sized bathroom.
The staff were all friendly and efficient. We made some alterations to our dinner reservation and this was accomplished with no fuss. The room and food were excellent. Very peaceful setting net to river
Nothing to not like
Very friendly staff, very helpful, very fresh inside, beautiful location, good bar with good real ale selection.
Location, first rate staff, really faultless
Excellent food, staff very friendly and efficient, everywhere spotlessly clean. We will definitely return
Nothing to dislike, but an unusual location for the wardrobe - in the bathroom!. Advanced planning & liaising needed prior to getting ready for the evening!
Gorgeous location, fantastic food, great bathrooms. Friendly and very professional staff.
Smoke from smokers outside the hotel at the front drifted up into my friend's room. My room was very warm although there was a fan provided in the room which was very welcome.
The hotel was spotlessley clean and the staff were great and very helpful and the food was second to non and we will be going there again later this year ,we would recommend this to anyone thinking of staying in the area the rooms are first class

friendly efficient staff in a very tastefully restored character property alongside the river Teme
Staff Food Decor Quality of toiletries, bed linen, towels
Very friendly and welcoming. Great food, especially the Herefordshire beef, which tasted delicious
Our room which was above the kitchen was very hot, even though the heating was off!
A little gem tucked away in the lush countryside. Great beer, very friendly and a fabulous location on the banks of the River Teme.
Only 2 things!! One that we were only there for one night and two (not really a moan), we couldn't get a signal for the mobile phones, probably not a bad thing when you want to get away from it all
