Fantastic location and really helpful staff. The picnic lunch we ordered was really good value and great quality. Food for dinner and breakfast was great too.
Staff very pleasant and helpful, no fridge in room so fresh milk provided in small flask to keep it fresh, rooms comfy and generally clean, food very good and breakfast excellent. We were in large family room (used as a twin) overlooking front of pub, over lounge area and front door. We were lucky as it was mid week and quiet but I expect if you wanted an early night in this room when busy, it would be quiet noisy. I'm picky so I notice little things, but generally ok and would recommend especially if you are walking in the area. Great place to visit.
Room smelt a bit fusty at first as if not used for a while. Sash window difficult to open for fresh air, although fan provided. The room decor ok but dark where the dressing table was situated, no table lamp or over head lighting in this area, also kettle etc on dressing table leaving not much room. Shower room adequate but small for size of room and fan covering, covered in thick layer of dust, and shower surround sealant in need of replacing as moldy. Easy chair in room had large stain on chair seat. Room needed a little TLC and a brighter coat of paint - too dark!!!
Lovely clean well equipped rooms with an enormous ensuite shower room, with an excellent bar and restaurant. The staff were very helpful and pleasant
wifi is very limited. bar area only.
Decor of bedroom; quality of food; fabulous location; non-smoking beer garden - lovely for non-smokers to be able to sit outside too.
Friendly Inn with staff to match. Superb location in village. Staff very friendly & helpful.
Nothing to dislike!
Bar area was inviting, restaurant was spacious and comfortable, bedroom was well decorated in a contemporary style.
The bedroom was very cramped due to the unnecessarily large bed and too much furniture, with no outlook whatsoever. The restaurant was expensive for what was basically pub food, basically "chips with everything".The side salads and veg on offer were poorly prepared. Service was sometimes slow.
very friendly and helpfull staff. Location for walks excellent.
the bathroom was very small.
Everything! The bar man who bought us a G&T up to our rooms after we arrived very tired at 7.30pm, the lovely comfortable rooms, the great food and atmosphere in the bar, the roaring fire and the brilliant breakfast and packed lunches. All excellent value for money too.
The food was amazing especially the breakfast.
The bed would have be fitted from an extra pillow- 3 instead of just 2.
Cozy gorgeous Inn Food is so good. Staff so smiling and helpful Situation for walks Lovely room
The room that we were in (11) was clean, spacious, unfussy and comfortable. The pub was a lovely, cosy and traditional building. Loved the open fire, newspapers and games. Great selection of drinks. Really relaxed and welcoming pub.
Although the staff were friendly, service was a bit slapdash.(a lot of young staff who maybe need a bit more training). I was a bit disappointed with the cooked breakfast-particularly the sausages so I ordered salmon and egg the next day. Would have been better with not such a huge portion of salmon and some brown toast. Our shower didn't have anywhere to put shampoo etc. Hook needed near shower, for towels.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very comfortable and clean. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The inn is in a beautiful part of the dales.
There was nothing we did not like.
Everything! Location, food, drink, staff!
Nothing, will definitely return
The location is perfect and we couldn't fault the room or facilities although we do consider £130 per night to be on the expensive side. That said, we had a lovely couple of days in a very beautiful area and so I guess the expense was worth it for a very enjoyable experience.
Couldn't afford to do this too often.
Excellent food, welcoming and helpful staff. Very dog friendly...Ozzie had a great time We loved the real fire and We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. We will be back again soon.
Nothing worth a mention
The location and the wonderful setting for the pub, also the welcoming bar and the great beer and the excellent food. Service was first class and the room was very comfortable. We'll be back!
nothing of note
Great location for walkers Excellent selection of beers Good pub grub and breakfast if a bit steep in price. Excellent staff.
High food prices for a pub Wifi poor To say it is a walkers pub, there was no where to hang your coats in the room.? Our room obviously had a dog in before us and the aroma was not pleasant.
Comfortable Bed Friendly Atmosphere Great Location Excellent Breakfast Large well-furnished room
Limited choice menus as many items not available Parking a Total Nightmare not enough spaces for clients Bedroom far too hot during heat wave - non opening window meant lack of air.
The managers were extremely helpful and client focused.Location was beautiful and perfect for walking . Log fires and cosy bar welcome after a wet n wild day walking in the hills.
Lack of fresh coffee even though the pub has all the provisions installed. Food quality was variable in the restaurant.
Location was perfect with accessable walks from the village. The bedroom was at the back of the pub and newly refurbished. Very tasteful and a huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was tasty with a good choice. Eggs florintine were delicious. Home made biscuits in room were very nice.
Bedroom a bit dark as on ground floor next to a stone wall. Very minor, but bathroom would benefit from a having a shelf or small cabinet to put your toiletries on.
Very comfortable inn in the centre of Malham village. We stayed in a family room with our grandson and had an enjoyable stay. Evening meal and breakfast all good, would definitely recommend.
The location was excellent, lovely rooms nice to go for a long walk and return to a pint
Menu was limited and expensive
The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant/bar was good for evening meals. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. Situated in a lovely village, convenient for lots of walks. Would definitely stay again.
Welcome - excellent Atmosphere - excellent
Our room was a bit damp
Good location and setting, food was very good.
Un suite was small and the first night people above were noisey at 3 in the morning. A dog was kept in a car overnight & started howling at 4 in the morning!
