Room, pub food, staff location =Everything great ☺
Nothing too much trouble. Food excellent. Company convivial. Dogs everywhere.
Rooms where very spacious and clean, finished nicely. Food was excellent both evening meal and breakfast. Would recommend to anyone.
Friendly hard working staff. Good food, good beer, good location for walking and a roaring fire to come back to. Very cosy.
Nothing at all.
We stayed for two nights and found the accommodation to be very clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant both evenings, and had delicious food on both occasions. The breakfast was also brilliant. Cannot recommend highly enough.
We were made very welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. Te location was brilliant. Rooms were warm and inviting. Would definitely stay here again.
Everything! Staff friendly and helpful, bar cosy with the log fire. Food lovely and a good price, beer great as well. Bedroom modern and comfortable, nice to have mugs and not the usual little cups for coffee. Will be staying again in the summer hopefully
Only staying one night!
Everything it was a lovely 2 night break we would definitely go back.
Easy to say everything, but I can't think of anything to criticise. The room was absolutely lovely; large, beautifully furnished, comfortable, warm, and clean (as was the entire place). Drinks provisions were accompanied by a flask of fresh milk, and some very tasty biscuits! We dined in, and our meals were excellent, as was the accompanying wine. Breakfast was also delicious, with plenty of choice. Staff were polite and attentive without ever being intrusive. What's more, they all seemed happy in their work. I will definitely be returning at some point in the future, hopefully for a longer stay.
I can't think of anything.
Accommodation Food Staff Location
Great friendly pub, food , staff could not be faulted. Will be back soon!
The whole ambiance of the place, the staff were wonderful and the food was out of this world
Sunday, time to come home
I stayed for one and the whole trip was a pleasure. Everything from bed comfort to food quality was excellent. My girlfriend and I will definitely be back again this year for another stay.
Beautiful village, amazing food would highly recommend the steak and ale pie. Lovely room and pub, friendly staff. Overall highly recommended
Very cosy pub. Bedroom was lovely.Food was very good.
Whilst we were eating in the restaurant in the evening. The kitchen door opened .There was a lot of shouting and swearing in the kitchen. Our fourteen year old granddaughter heard everything. Our son in law and myself heard everything. We were asked to speak to the generalmanager n the morning which we did He was very apologetic. This kind of behaviour is not on especially when you are paying £95 a night.
Character features & location .
Old pub character with the charm of modern pub chain , very slow restarant service , children left to play unsupervised in accomodation area , rooms 2-9 whilst parents drinking ( spending ) in bar , therefore disturbing anybody wanting to relax in their room . Younger bar staff quite surly .
Location, food, comfort. Staff friendliness.
No view from the room. WiFi unreliable.
Large bed and comfy room, fantastic food and location. Friendly and accommodating staff
Not the best value for money but it is a touristy area
the food was great and reasonably priced. Best meal we have had in a long time. Staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The room was a good size and comfy. Overall good value for money
bathroom a bit on the small size but it was clean and this is more important.
Food, bar, beers, friendly staff, fab location.
Bed was a bit uncomfortable as it was on a slope. Slight musty smell in room caused by damp patches on walls. Still very much enjoyed the stay
Friendly staff. Well appointed and excellent breakfast
Nothing in particular
Very warm welcome, log burners, comfy quiet room, food excellent food and super location and walks.
Only problem Wi Fi hit and miss but that is what happens in the country. Did not spoil the stay.
Malham is a wonderful place to visit and the Lister Arms is the perfect host for a relaxing break. It has the appearance from the outside that just makes you want to go in and once inside it is just as charming with hospitality to match.
Nothing at all, I would return without hesitation and hopefully will shortly when I intend to bring the rest of the family with me.
Very friendly staff.good quality accommodation, food and drink, set in excellent walking country.bonus on site parking.
Not the problem of the pub ,but phone and wi fi reception limited.
Mid December 2014 - Loved everything about the Lister Arms. Welcoming check-in. Lovely room. Excellent Bar. Fabulous food.
Wi-fi only works in one area of the bar and then only just. Quite interesting to be without data or wi-fi for a couple of days though
