Only problem Wi Fi hit and miss but that is what happens in the country. Did not spoil the stay.
Malham is a wonderful place to visit and the Lister Arms is the perfect host for a relaxing break. It has the appearance from the outside that just makes you want to go in and once inside it is just as charming with hospitality to match.
Nothing at all, I would return without hesitation and hopefully will shortly when I intend to bring the rest of the family with me.
Very friendly staff.good quality accommodation, food and drink, set in excellent walking country.bonus on site parking.
Not the problem of the pub ,but phone and wi fi reception limited.
Mid December 2014 - Loved everything about the Lister Arms. Welcoming check-in. Lovely room. Excellent Bar. Fabulous food.
Wi-fi only works in one area of the bar and then only just. Quite interesting to be without data or wi-fi for a couple of days though
The staff were very welcoming and friendly The atmosphere in the hotel was lovely The food in the restaurant was excellent both for breakfast and dinner
Nothing it was all lovely
Kat and the staff were excellent in every respect food excellent
Going from bar to room in rain not under cover. Fire alarm sounded around 11.30pm we awoke and made our way to the front of the hotel there was no lighting on steps fromrear patio to carpark level very dangerous to negotiate in the darkness. No explanation of what had happened just amble back to rooms??? This all needs addressing!!!
Lovely pub and good food - staff were very attentive and pleasant.
The only negatives were the room smelt of dogs which wasn't pleasant and the shower room was cramped.
Great staff, amazing food, lovely rooms and a log fire plus helped us safely store our bicycles over night
It was all amazing
The relaxed warm fun charecter of the manager and his team. The food was fresh and good quality. The standards were not to posh very down to earth homely feeling
What is not to like.....the beer was a little on the high price level
We had 2 rooms and paid £75.00 each for B&B via Booking.com, a week before we were due to go we had a flyer arrive offering B&B for £59.00 pr room, bit dissapointing.

Food, logfires, the number of real ales and ciders from tab.
The atmosphere, the food was varied and excellent, excellent range of real ales, the room spacious and comfortable and all in a great location.
Nothing much comes to mid.
the lister arms dining experience exceeded our expectations, serving delicious food, in a comfortable environment, the Lister arms owes much to great staff, whose welcome and great service will keep customers including us wanting to returen, Well done.
Location was excellent. Right next to Pennine Way so plenty of places to walk the dog. Staff were really friendly and went out of their way to make us at home. (Including our dog). Decor was lovely and room a good size and furnished well. Food in the pub was excellent and reasonably priced ,in fact breakfast was probably amongst the best we have ever had in an hotel . The roaring fires and beautiful village location make this a hotel not to miss and we will certainly return.
The double bed was a little bit small and you tended to roll into the middle - but still had a good nights sleep .
Excellent staff good food in comfy room close to beautiful locations
