Great location, close to the city centre. Clean room, good shower.
Staff were hard to find, no hand towel, no toilet paper, nobody looked about the room for the 3 days we were there. Very loud from the pub below.
great location and helpful staff
slanting bed made for poor sleeping opportunity
That the staff were very nice and helpful and the location was good for accessing the town centres facilities
Location in Northen Quarter. Cleanliness. Swipe cards (unusual for such type of hotels) Price.
Due to location of the pub downstairs, can get pretty loud until pub get closed.
The room was clean toilet and the shower were ok
Having to waite in the noisy pub for somebody to come from another location to book us the bar staff told us the pub and the hotel have two different owners we were tired and wet. Not good
Location, cleanliness, comfortable bed. It's in a pub that's open to 2. If that's ok with you then it is superb value.
Great location. Ideal if you are on a night out in manchester. Bedding was clean.
They started putting market stalls up outside hotel about 5am couldnt have made anymore noise if they tried. Not the hotels fault.
Nice clean & soft bedding. Own swipe card, near to car park, nice curtains & throw.
1.No where to check in....a lady in a cupboard in the back bar area takes your details!! 2..Could't get the kettle under the tap in the too small sink. Tea & Coffee shelf shabby, towels fraid (clean)the room in need of a lot of TLC. Won't stay again.
rooms clean bed comfy
a little noisy as room was on main road bright light outside wall shining through to bedroom 3am it went off.
When booking to stay here you must remember that this is a lively pub in a busy city centre, and if you bear this in mind you will be fine here my room was very clean with lovely fresh bedding! The bar is an experience in itself for its friendly atmosphere
Great location. The room was basic, nice en-suite. It was not too noisy considering it was above a pub, much quieter than I was expecting. Good value for money.
I went at weekend, its in the heart of the Northern Quarter, so people are not going for a quiet weekend. There were people coming back at all times, after good night out. Not a real negative as long as you know what to expect
The staff was unexceptionally nice and helping. We had a nice conversation with them and the lady led us to the room and helped us with the directions and places of interest to see in manchester. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a great experience in Manchester.
Dirty Awful filthy accommodation. No mattress cover on bed Stained mattress Broken shower Drunks load at night Awful. Awful.
All. See above
We were going to a gig at phones 4 u arena and this little friendly accommodation was in a perfect location, 10 minute walk to the arena and Victoria rail station, met some lovely friendly people, and we were made to feel very welcome
What u pay that u get
Was very cold in the room .. I have to ask for a heater ... Lucky I find some one there that they knew the place because was no staff there after 11 pm
Such a busy pub. Noisy!!
Went with a group of friends, basic enough, good pub below and cheap. Well worth it if your just looking for a place to get the head down
Clean, good size room ,comfortable bed.Great full English
Shower no the best
The hotel is in a great location if you want to get into the town centre quickly
The water pressure in the room can be low if the hotel is busy
The hotel is close to phones 4 u arena
Clean and fresh room decent bed. Glad we had en-suite. Adequate for overnight stay and price paid. Close to Phones 4 U, Printworks and Arndale Shops
Rather confusing to find with unusual back to front set-up which I had not understood beforehand from the information. Steep stairs to top floor. Shower a bit tepid. Room had simple basic furnishings. some hooks or hanging space would be useful if staying more than one night
No room service no toilet paper no tea no tea spoon tv not working room not clean staff not helpful
The area was brilliant, lots of trendy shops, bars, and restaurants. 5mins from Arndale Centre.
Shower didn't work.
Good location, plenty of nightlife nearby. Walking distance of Piccadilly , Victoria.
Clean and tidy and very friendly staff. Brilliant breakfast!!
We stayed in a room at the front and on the top floor, and all the lights to illuminate the hotel were right by my rooms window. I had no sleep due to this due to the fact the curtains were too thin.
