Score from 1379 reviews Very good
Location perfect for arena + shopping. Staff friendly and helpful. Cleanliness, bedding, room.
Room was very small, wouldn't have been able to spend any time in it but to sleep. Wouldn't have liked it if there for more then 1 night.
Noisey and tried 3 rooms before we got a working shower....
The location was fantastic and the pub itself was a great little pub. It didn't cost a lot and as it was for one night we weren't too bothered about lack of facilities. Shower was good - hot and powerful.
Room was very basic. No waste bin or bedside table. Very small and no real storage space. Bathroom small and nowhere to hang your towel.
It's literally a few minutes walk to the Arndale shopping centre and we spent an entire day there, went back to the hotel with no trouble when we got tired. Great price and you can enter through the back-door with your hotel key if the bar is really busy.
We went for valentines day, so the pub naturally below us was really loud all night. Loud music & Karaoke. However other than that I think normal days would be fine.
room was tiny, missing basic things such as bin and bedside tables. wanted to take a shower when we got back to the hotel to find it wasn't working, and the bathroom was dirty. luckily we didn't have to spend much time in there
Surprisingly quiet for the location and considering it was within a very busy pub.
Bathroom was freezing
Great location, very handy for the Arena and town. And very cheap for Manchester.
Bouncer on the door extremely rude. Pub below is very noisy until at least 2am. Rooms were very warm which is not always a bad thing but couldn't turn the heating down.
Have to check in by 7pm or office shuts. No detail of this on website. Had to rush and change plans. Annoying.
good clean room at this price
bed was broken kept sliding towards the centre
Just middle of the city centre. Upstairs of a traditional English Pub. I stayed for £36 for 2 people. For this price it was perfect. I recommend A***
Pub staf is always awailable and very cheerful however they dont related with hotel part. There's only one lady that looks after the hotel and she comes to hotel just between 11.00 and 13.00. Except this 2 hour there is no hotel staff!
Was in a great place nice bars and restaurants and only 5 min from mem
Very central, in the Northern Quarter, so easy to get to everything. Lively area - loads of bars and food places. Clean, tidy and friendly.
You have to bear in mind it is a pub, so Friday and Saturday nights are noisy, but it closes at 1am-ish so not too bad really. It can be noisy outside too, but you have to expect that, being central and in a lively pub area.
Bed & staff were nice
cold room,extremly old fashion,
Dear this hotel pop& responsible looking gust room clone other facilities
Was good location and easy to get to everywhere. Everyone was helpful
The shower didn't work properly and the radiator was broken so had to use a plug in heater as the room was freezing
Great location, close to the city centre. Clean room, good shower.
Staff were hard to find, no hand towel, no toilet paper, nobody looked about the room for the 3 days we were there. Very loud from the pub below.
great location and helpful staff
slanting bed made for poor sleeping opportunity
That the staff were very nice and helpful and the location was good for accessing the town centres facilities
Location in Northen Quarter. Cleanliness. Swipe cards (unusual for such type of hotels) Price.
Due to location of the pub downstairs, can get pretty loud until pub get closed.
The room was clean toilet and the shower were ok
Having to waite in the noisy pub for somebody to come from another location to book us the bar staff told us the pub and the hotel have two different owners we were tired and wet. Not good
Location, cleanliness, comfortable bed. It's in a pub that's open to 2. If that's ok with you then it is superb value.
Great location. Ideal if you are on a night out in manchester. Bedding was clean.
They started putting market stalls up outside hotel about 5am couldnt have made anymore noise if they tried. Not the hotels fault.
Nice clean & soft bedding. Own swipe card, near to car park, nice curtains & throw.
1.No where to check in....a lady in a cupboard in the back bar area takes your details!! 2..Could't get the kettle under the tap in the too small sink. Tea & Coffee shelf shabby, towels fraid (clean)the room in need of a lot of TLC. Won't stay again.
rooms clean bed comfy
a little noisy as room was on main road bright light outside wall shining through to bedroom 3am it went off.
