Friendly staff, good breakfast and hotel meals good. Central location for access to all places.
The homeliness of both the hotel/pub and the local customers.
Just about everything.
Car park had a few pot holes
Good restaurant, good food. Pleasant staff, and good value at price paid (£60 for double). Rooms somewhat basic but adequate.
Rooms tired , and bathroom a bit poky. Room had the smallest TV I have seen for a long while and the breakfast hours were too draconian and early for the non-business traveller ( we didn't bother and went to Tesco's!)
staff were very friendly took us all the way to the room. Explains bed everything thoroughly
the bed was very hard and the room was cold when we got there.
Staff were friendly , nice cosy pub
Breakfast was awful, bed was supposed to b double but it was a small double
Very clean and well looked after. Excellent food and very well priced. Nice Bar. Value for money Enjoyable short stay.
Very small shower. Very small TV
We were up early for an Indian wedding and no one told us hairdryers and irons are not placed in your room. No one was on duty for me to use these before we had to leave. Kettle is ridiculously long to boil and you have to fill with a small cup, the shower dribbles and bathroom fan is very noisy, the room stank of cigarette smoke- not something you want to smell when pregnant.
From start to finish everything at this hotel was great, staff, room, food especially the cooked breakfast well worth the £3.00 pounds. Will stay again.
I would have loved a bath in my room not a shower, after a very long drive i find its the best way to relax.
Friendly staff and comfortable room and bed. Good car park.
Nothing too much trouble for the staff who were genuinely welcoming.
Convenient for my destination. Good food.
The driveway as we left.
order soup for dinner and it had so much salt in it that it made us feel ill. Small showers cubicle.
The location was excellent and close to work. Good atmosphere and very friendly the bar. The staff were very helpful.
The bed was hard and made a lot of noise. Squeaking every time you moved. The extractor fan in the shower room was very noisy, I had to turn it off at the fuse box switch.
Close to my destination.
breakfast buffet is excellent, additional charge (minimal) for full English, Plenty of space for car parking. Excellent surroundings.
We actually didn't stay at the Little Thatch, the room stank of damp and was so cold, we actually walked out.
Cold room, pungent damp smell which was overwhelming
Servid our purpose well, stayed there as convenient for a nearby wedding. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pub was interesting 14th century building, with good beer. Room was functional and clean, suited our needs.
wifi erratic and didnt work in bedroom long wait for breakfast on sunday
The fact there was more then one entrance and exit so we were able to get out with out going through the bar
-woke up in the night due to noise -style of the room not what was expected
Friendly staff Great breakfast Good range of beers & spirits Rooms were clean warm & inviting
Small room TV Poor WiFi in rooms £3 PP supplement for full breakfast
Friendly staff and reasonable.
The noise from other guests was horrid, especially at gone 12.30 at night. Also, the breakfast was not good.
A cosy little hotel, nice food and friendly staff
Beautiful building from the outside, helpful and friendly staff. My room was changed from a single downstairs to a small double upstairs, which was appreciated.
The room was cold and in desperate need of updating. The shower was more a spray, the towels scratchy and marked, and the kettle dirty. There was a strong lavatorial smell in the corridors, and a lot of noise carriage. I have paid a lot less for a much nicer room in a better location.
The bar is quaint with nice beer. Staff were excellent, it's the little touches that make the difference. Our daughter (7months) was unsettled while we were eating dinner, they found a picture book to entertain her which she loved and so they gave it her to keep.
No complaints, the decore in the rooms was a touch tired but we were more than happy with it.
