Servid our purpose well, stayed there as convenient for a nearby wedding. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pub was interesting 14th century building, with good beer. Room was functional and clean, suited our needs.
wifi erratic and didnt work in bedroom long wait for breakfast on sunday
The fact there was more then one entrance and exit so we were able to get out with out going through the bar
-woke up in the night due to noise -style of the room not what was expected
Friendly staff Great breakfast Good range of beers & spirits Rooms were clean warm & inviting
Small room TV Poor WiFi in rooms £3 PP supplement for full breakfast
Friendly staff and reasonable.
The noise from other guests was horrid, especially at gone 12.30 at night. Also, the breakfast was not good.
A cosy little hotel, nice food and friendly staff
Beautiful building from the outside, helpful and friendly staff. My room was changed from a single downstairs to a small double upstairs, which was appreciated.
The room was cold and in desperate need of updating. The shower was more a spray, the towels scratchy and marked, and the kettle dirty. There was a strong lavatorial smell in the corridors, and a lot of noise carriage. I have paid a lot less for a much nicer room in a better location.
The bar is quaint with nice beer. Staff were excellent, it's the little touches that make the difference. Our daughter (7months) was unsettled while we were eating dinner, they found a picture book to entertain her which she loved and so they gave it her to keep.
No complaints, the decore in the rooms was a touch tired but we were more than happy with it.
The staff were helpful and friendly. The food (T-Bone Steak) one of the best I have ever had. Loads of pepper sauce. Excellent value all round.
Bed a bit hard for me Chips not home made as stated on the menu but still ok
You could feel springs in mattress Room very small Had to fill kettle with cup as fixed to wall Bed very small It was ment to be executive suite and as I have stayed it lots of hotels I would class it as standard or budget I would definenently not stay at this hotel again
Lovely place, friendly staff and a choice of two real ales in the bar. What more do you want?
Car park a little rough.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a lovely building, full of character. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
My bedroom furniture was a little tatty and I had trouble locking my door on arrival.
Staff excellent, good nights sleep & breakfast very pleasing.
The evening meal fell short of previous experiences at The Little Thatch. The portions were mean and we expected more vegetables than just potato and frozen peas.
We stayed here for a wedding, very convientent to Elmore. Good breakie/service
Smell in hallway - very strong. Creaky beds
Cosy and typical English bar/restaurant Friendly staff
Interior a bit outdated, but clean On the outskirts of Gloucester
Good price, generous sized room. Staff at the bar & breakfast were friendly.
Would have been good to have a hair dryer in the room & more power sockets.
The location was good as we were visiting friend and it was just of the main roads so the notice level was low. No English breakfast was included but for 3 GBP it was a cheap meal.
Nothing to dislike
Loved the history to the building, clean rooms, nice mattress, welcoming staff, lovely food and nice layout. Wifi was good as well.
Loved it all
Food, staff and price
wonderful food, comfy bed, nice people, fabulous old building
The wifi was total rubbish and it was vey hard to sort emails and any work as it kept dropping out. Probably because the building is so old and has so many very thick walls.
Character building, charming people lovely decor
stayed 3 nights. Towels not changed and soap etc not replenished. Bedroom and breakfast room were cold. Hotel needs some TLC to bring it up to a cosy place.
Well located to the motor way, friendly staff. Excellent food. Quaint inn.
The mattress wasn't very comfortable.
For the single night I was there it is a convenient location , pub for meals and ample parking at a fair price. A fair choice for breakfast but a cooked one cost extra
As a mature lady, I know it is easy to criticise but my mattress was not very good and should be replaced. It was a single room and fine for one night.
old world charm- fabulous building -relaxed friendly atmosphere - good breakfast
no decaffinated tea or coffee or fruit/ herbal teas available in rooms. Decaffinated coffee was provided at breakfast after a discussion with a member of staff. non smoking room did smell a little of stale cigarettes!
