As soon I arrived at the littleton Arms I was greeted warmly, even though it was busy I was booked in quickly. I stayed in Room 2, very nice room , large bed, plenty of storage space, evening meal was very good, it was busy in the restaurant but the service was very good, breakfast also was very good.
The Shower. I was a little disappointed with the shower, even though there is a notice in the shower door stating it could take a few minutes for the water to get hot it was a bit to long for me, it was the same with the hot water in the sink, apart from this little moan the shower when hot was very good
Friendly staff Really convenient for M6 Great breakfast Spotlessly clean Fantastic selection of real ales
Room was too hot....
Location Superb..Accomodation Staf, Breakfast Can't Fault The Place, If Ever We Are Travelling Down Country This Is Our Favourite Place To Stay...
Nothing At All...
The staff are warm and friendly on their welcome. All aspects of our stay were dealt with in a professional manner. The food was delicious.
It wasn't a problem for us as the road was quiet but can see traffic noise might be a problem.
Very close to junction 13 of the M6, the hotel was a welcome break from heavy traffic. A nicely furnished and large bedroom, with a good clean bathroom, well-stocked with tea making gear and toiletries. Good wifi and excellent food and service. Good off street parking.
Slight noise in bedroom during service hours - kitchen extractor fan? Breakfast cooking not as skilled as dinner.
Everything quant place
Welcome Great food Lovely clean rooms
Excellent rooms Great food and service
Very friendly staff and the style, ambiance of the premises.
A really warm welcome. Large spacious room. Fantastic food in the evening. Great filling breakfast.
The mattress sank in the middle but fine for one night.
Absolutely fantastic overnight stay the chefs done a remarkable job food was stunning rooms well appointed warm and very comfortable would recommend this to people no problem
Location and cleanliness
Restaurant food was expensive
Ease of access from M6 Fabulous food Friendly staff
Noisy at night due to traffic
The location was ideal for our visit to the Cannock Hockey Club convenient to the M6. The food was excellent.
Nothing to dislike but the bedroom was very warm and without heating. Lighter bedding would have been a benefit.
Good size room and comfortable bed. Very good menu and food choice. Convenient for Cannock Chase area.
First floor rooms over Bar Area are very noisy until the Bar empties at Midnight, although I accept it is a pub as much as a Hotel.
Great location in a lovely little town, the breakfast was very good and the staff extremely friendly. The place has a lot of character, being an old coaching Inn and it has been tastefully renovated. Would certainly stay here again, we had a very enjoyable short stay.
Staff could not have been more helpful, nice atmosphere, food very good
Unfortunately located on very busy road... non stop traffic made it a bit noisy for sleeping.
Well thought out menu and real ale variety; very friendly chefs who gave advice on what to eat:)
A few of the staff look as though they need a holiday; or maybe they are being over-worked...
The room and the facilities
It would have been better if the room was freeziing on arrival
Excellent food, and friendly staff.
Our dinner at the Littleton Arms was in one of the top fives we have ever had.
We ate here both nights. The menus were very imaginative and the food was delicious.
The bedroom was lovely but it was very warm, good job there was a fan in the room.
The cleanliness was wonderful.
They diverted the traffic from the motorway during the night and sent all the lorries past our window,I was told this is unique by nearby residents.
Easy to find, good room size, excellent range of food and drink, reasonable value. The village is quite pretty and has an interesting market, just round the back, on Wednesdays.
Unfortunately it is on a busy main road, so road noise is very intrusive at night if you want a window open for fresh air. Hotel has installed very effective secondary glazing though if you don't mind the windows shut.
