pleasant staff and pleasant accomodation.Very clean and comfortable.Would definitely stay again
Quite location Comfortable, cosy and clean room. Friendly staff and excellent wholesome food.
Sunday breakfast wasn't quite what we asked for, white bread for toast when we ordered brown, mushrooms fried egg and bacon ordered, fried egg, sausages and bacon came, however it was very good food and we did ask for it to be changed.
The staff were friendly and the price was good value for money.
The wifi was poor in the room
The room was OK and clean
The bar/restaurant area was very noisy, with constant TV and nowhere to sit and relax for a quiet drink
There was nothing about the place to dislike.
Friendly helpful staff,very clean,lovely courtyard,family room was super!Very comfortable.loved it!will be back!
Upstairs room in family room was very hot, window wouldnt open
we felt very welcome , the rooms and food where lovely , we will be back!
nothing not to like all good for us .
All the staff were helpful, friendly and made us feel at home straightaway Food from the restaurant was fantastic and excellent value Staff directed us to a nice woodland walk which had a converted water mill with a small bar on the way which was worth a visit Would definitely stay here again
Local area, food and bar facilities. All staff were very efficient and friendly.
Size of rooms, noise from courtyard-style drinking area just outside room window! Inconsiderate residents.
very good breakfast good parking friendly atmosphere excellent room--all good
Friendly staff and good food.
Room and shower okay
Advertised as a restaurant /inn but no food at all in the evening, not even a sandwich. Claimed they were fully booked but it didn't look like that (not even bar snacks available). Poor after hard days walking. Breakfast okay if a little greasy
Friendly staff. New facilities, The chef Graham served excellent food, and couldn't have been more helpful. Thoroughly recommend.
Accommodation was excellent, large room, extremely comfortable bed, lovely surroundings and the food very good. Warm welcome and friendly and helpful staff.
Unfortunately we found during our stay it was very noisy with the rooms being right along the outside tables where families were dining and drinking from lunch till late.
Nice place, brekky good. Bit overpriced though.
Kept banging my foot on bed
The staff were friendly and helpful! Breakfast was lovely! Evening meal was great! They made us feel welcome and catered to our needs. Our son is four and can use adult cutlery well but here they provided child friendly utensils! For younger guests this is great and often overlooked (hence why our son capable of using adult cutlery)! Family Room was fabulous with a upstairs and small kitchenette!
There wasn't anything I didn't like! We only stayed for a night and it was great for our needs! Not sure how we'll located it was if you're there for a longer period! We had a great stay and will be returning next year for same event!
Didn't like Windows not able to open in room 1, had to change to smaller room
We had to book in rather late in the day as one of our team was taken ill. The hotel were fantastic from start to finish and I can highly recommend them!
Beautiful, clean, modern rooms. Very nice breakfast and helpful staff
Some rooms open straight out onto the outdoor drinks area. This would be too noisy. Private function was going on and we could not have a quiet drink in the bar. However, in the end we just joined in!
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and good value for money.
lots of checking by the staff prior to our visit as to what we needed and time of arrival.what time we wanted breakfast
noisy patrons though it did stop by midnight wifi connection poor .teenagers not happy!!!
The staff were very friendly.
Noise of traffic on very busy road, ripped quilt cover, very small room only one bedside cuboard and the bed was lethal not enough room to get around it and kept cracking my shin on the wooden base which stuck out! ordered king prawns off menu and got the smallest prawns i'd ever seen was told they were king prawns!... which i disputed chef came out and said was suppliers fault so was not charged for them.....Moldy toast for breakfast not very impressed at all......:-(
Staff very friendly and helpful. We dined in the restaurant one evening and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the ample serving. Our room was very comfortable and clean.
Our mobile signal was very poor in the building but okay if you went out into the car park.
The staff were fantastic, the hotel was spotless. Food was lovely. Couldnt have had a better weekend, booked again, highly recommended.
