We were made very welcome, and the service and food could not be faulted. The public areas were convivial without being rowdy, and it was a relaxing experience all round. The location is superb for the mountains.

From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with a cheerful welcome which continued throughout our stay. Lovely location, excellent food, cheerful staff and a very happy hotel. Lovely views over the loch and a perfect place for our stopover on our way home from Skye. A perfect example of a hotel run by good management which produces great staff. Our room was very small but we knew that when we booked it. Also the beds were quite soft but a lot of people like that! Didn't spoil what was a very pleasant stopover. Just wish we could have spent longer there.

The staff were friendly and the food was excellent We had the same towels for 3 nights despite putting them in the shower floor two days. The bins were not emptied in our room for our third night.

Cosy and comfortable. Very friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night as were on route to Skye but it was an ideal spot.Food also very good and good atmosphere with local people using the resyaurant---always a good sign. We didn't have a Loch view but that was not really an issue.

Everything! All the staff were very friendly and good hosts and made this a very relaxing place to stay. Excellent bar menu - can thoroughly recommend the Shanghai egg-fried rice. Loved being able to eat our breakfast while looking out at such a great view.

The room was clean and comfortable with plenty space , the staff were excellent ,they washed and dried clothes ,got up earlier to cook a breakfast for us an hour before normal serving time. We had steak for our dinner which was not on the special menu, my mate's steak was tough so they cooked him another no problem, which was much better, chips were beautiful. The hot water ran out after one bath but it was at peak time.

The location was amazing: stunning views at Loch Leven and the surrounding mountains. The shower was inconsistent: sometimes working well, other times the water temperature varied constantly between boiling hot and ice cold.

Good value for money. We had a 'standard' room on this trip & were pleased by the size of the room & en suite. There was a lovely big sofa in the room which was so much better than the bedroom chairs that hotels usually provide. Staff very friendly. Good, honest hotel, no frills but very genuine. Wonderful location. Friendly staff.

The hotel is located in a very beautiful, magical place on the lake. The hotel rooms are comfortable and all with views of the valley and the lake. On the ground floor there is a restaurant chudestny to which a quite acceptable price for dinner. It is very popular, almost all the seats are occupied in the evening. Located just 3 miles from the Valley of Glencoe, and 20 miles from Fort William. On the other side of the lake there is a walking trail along which you can walk to the mountain. Everything was perfect
