Hotel Piccadilly is a privately owned 3-star hotel situated close to the center of town and a short walk from Bournemouth's award winning beaches.
Score from 199 reviews Good
It was relaxing, private and quiet, yet it had so much to offer with the swimming, spa and club house for meals. I was travelling alone but was quite at ease in the environment.
There was nothing to dislike, unless you wanted a noisy impersonal hotel.
Comfort of the bed and the facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful.
There wasn't daily cleaning and maintenance. I had to call them and get it done.
Golf and health suit.
Very Clean Close to Bournemouth Center Pool/Sauna/Spa Gym
They need a sign on the lodge door for out of hours reception for people arriving after 9pm (or when dark). There is a sign but it's on the Golf course and you can't see it when it's dark or there is a car parked in front of it. Bathroom (Room 4). Functional and very clean but dated. Food is average at best for the price. Wifi is sketchy, particularly on a Mac and Android phone.
We ate in cafe bar and enjoyed. Fair prices and friendly service.
Great value for money.
no mirror near the hair dryer. No pillow protectors. Bathroom a bit tired.
Quiet setting: close to town centre (easy walk) but away from the hustle & bustle. Only a few harmless, peaceful golfers & fitness fans to mingle with. Nice breakfast and tasty food options in the bar/restaurant area.
Limited parking close to lodge - might be more of a problem in a busy season.
The Lodge was quiet, warm, v.clean, with excellent facilities and great staff.
Trying to find it in the dark and rain was a bit tricky. Well worth finding though.
Location, price as it was on offer, room very comfortable, bed was great! staff and facilities very good
traffic noise occasionally loud from the room, only enough milk for 1 cup of tea each!
Was upgraded after late notification that there would be no leisure facilities available on New Year's Day and no breakfast facilities.
I question whether the lodge should have been open at all on New Year's Eve! I think it is great that all staff get a rest and enjoy the night, but what makes Meyrick great are the facilities and if those, nor breakfast are available with everything closed, then they should just close for the night.
Amazing value for money. Very comfortable bed
Sign on the road to highlight where the hotel is could be a bit clearer.
location and spa facilities
near to a road
The pool the breakfast
The location the beds
we stayed in room 1. lovely size, very comfortable. only 10 minute walk from town. great spa and swimming pool. Breakfast was delicious, other meals pretty basic but beautifully cooked and hot. Staff helpful when querying matters. Was told Lodge was being upgraded in the Spring.
lodge had been shut for Xmas and heating had not been left on so room was freezing on arrival. took several hours to warm up. No chest of drawers in room. No mirror near hairdryer which was fixed to drawer.
Breakfast good and the facilities
Windows had been left open over Xmas so our room was freezing. Had to wait 3 hours for the one radiator in the room to warm it up to a comfortable temperature. It would have been helpful if that had been done prior to our arrival
The pool and spa facilities
Bathroom was cold and tatty
location- impossible to find no adequate parking wooden lodge plywood walls Reception no where near lodge jolly holi for golfers
Staff were very welcoming. Great value for money.
Couldnt access wi-fi until day two of our stay, as there were no ip address available. Limited car parking available, close to Lodge rooms.
Room was lovely and clean and warm.
Breakfast was poor.
Excellent location for a short break. Rooms clean, comfortable and had everything you need. The leisure club had very friendly staff and excellent facilities. The cafe in the club served good value meals. All in all an excellent stay and would definitely stay there again.
Slightly noisy from rooms above if you are staying in the ground floor rooms but it certainly didn't spoil our stay.
Great spacious clean comfy rooms..great location and spa & pool use makes it a great please for a short break
the room the bed the shower how clean it was the friendly staff
very small tv
8mins downhill walk to Town. Food in Bar was good value and plentiful. Health Club facilities were brilliant (all included). En-suite room was clean fresh and exactly as described
Beds were a bit soft but that a personal preference only.15mins uphill from Town.
Gym, pool, sauna, steam great. Excellent selection of fitness classes. bed was so comfortable and the staff were lovely. Would definitely go back
The room was very clean and welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable!
The reception was quite hard to find in the dark, wet weather.
