Staff very friendly and helpful
The mattress and pillows
No mirror in the bedroom
Great location near town centre and golf on site, friendly helpful staff and good leisure facilities
Noisy green keepers meaning early morning wake up. Traffic noise from busy road nearby
Room was quite spacious, clean and airy.
We arrived at 5pm on Sunday and could only use the pool with our grandson until 6pm. The pool was off limits to children except at weekends. Very disappointing.
we liked everything
Excellent value for money, room was lovely, staff very friendly and use of leisure facilities included in price.
Had to keep windows shut at night because we could here traffic.
Position-comfortable bedrooms. Very convenient for accessing many places around. Stunning views of golf course. Very good food in cafe,at reasonable prices.
If you are near the Wessex by-pass,some rooms may be a little noisy-take ear plugs!
Comfy bed Location They let us check in at 4 am after our flight was delayed
Dirty room Dated Dirty bathroom Mouldy net curtains Stained carpet Pricey for what you get
Central position, welcoming staff, ample breakfasts.
Poor lighting - lovely mirror perfectly positioned for doing hair/make-up, but no light near. Not a female-friendly environment!
Well decorated comfortable room, lovely soft bed, good breakfast. Very easy access to Bournemouth centre.
Some minor intermittent noise from the traffic on Wessex Way during the night.
Staff - helpful Bed - big and comfy
The staff were wonderful. Charlotte at the front desk was cheerful and full of information. Vida served us breakfast each day and nothing was too much trouble. The pool was wonderful, clean and not too busy.
The room was much smaller than depicted. It would have been nice to have more towels and easier parking
great location , friendly and quick service, 5 min walking distance to center.
Facilities available were really good I.e. Spa, steam, sauna and swimming pool
The bathroom in our Lodge needed updating and the fan was way too loud
Room reminded us of an American motel! Bathroom was poor and the carpet smelt and had not been hoovered. They tried dressing up the room but it was nothing like the pictures on their website. Light in bathroom was hanging off and mould around the bath. We didn't end up staying. We went home after 10 mins in the room!
It was reasonably close to the beach and the accomodation was quirky and reasonably clean and comfortable.
The hotel is really not interested in their guests more the members who use the club! Incredibly disappointed that my child wa unable to use any of the facilities available as it would "upset members" which therefore meant I couldn't either so bit of a waste. I wouldn't book again with a young family.
Pool facilties good. Bearkfast cooked fresh was lovely.
Twin beds smaller than single bed. Not many plug sockets. Windows needed a good clean around outside and bathroom a bit manky! Wouldnt be happy if I paid full room price if wasnt sharing
The location is the reason for choosing the hotel. We like to have a feel of nature. There is a good swimming pool and a gym.
1) Hotel check in took far too long and the reception staff looked surprised of our early arrival! 2) The room had mould and rotten wood. 3) We consider shower gel and shampoo/ conditioner a basic requirement of any hotel. There was no shampoo or conditioner. 4) The lodge rooms need good wifi
We regularly come here and stay as we travel from near liverpool to see family. Always really welcoming and have checked before to make sure we are on a ground floor when I was on crutches.
Only slight downside is minimal close parking. Main car park is 500yds away which is fine normally but when you're on crutches and its raining its not the best. Otherwise a great stay with great facilities, staff and food!
Being just a short walk from the beach and town. Waking up to the crisp clean air of a park - well, golf course.
Staff were extremely friendly helpful & nothing seemed too much trouble. Food delicious & special requirements catered for. Food could be obtained throughout the day & the restaurant was quiet & comfy. Rooms, restaurant etc spotlessly clean. Use of gym, pool & other facilities available. Very good value for money on all counts. Quiet surroundings, 5 min walk from beautiful safe sandy beaches & town. Surrounded by golfing greens.
Difficult to park close to our room as not enough spaces outside Lodge, however, alternative parking available down the driveway. The driveway to & from Lodge very narrow, so tricky for cars to pass-impossible at some points. Pools only open to children at the weekends.
Lack of parking near the lodge
No mirror at all in bedroom, so the hairdryer couldn't be used
No air con, television very small and shower splashed all over the floors
