- Wifi didn't work in all areas of the cottage
Everything! Stunning location, beautiful accommodation, friendly hosts
Nothing really, apart from having to leave.
Great view. Excellent renovation of a 16th century building. Huge indoor and Very nice owners with really cute pets (a dog and a cat).
We had a power cut & the owners came to check that we were ok & made sure the emergency lighting was all on & they gave us a few torches to use just in case. They said they would get some matches for us to light the gas hob so we could make a hot drink. We loved how secluded & how quiet it was.
We stayed at the Lodge to do a charity Ride up Snowdon. The Lodge was very much above and beyond what we were expecting as it was immaculate and the facilities around the lodge met our needs with parking right outside the lodge and bike hire with all the equipment you need also on site. The owners Tam and Pete were very accommodating and made us feel instantly welcomed and relaxed...Big Thanks
Great interior design High quality fittings Comfy Clean WiFi in a no 3G signal area
Wood-burner would be nice Nothing
The location and facilities are excellent. Although remote the lack of a mobile phone signal has been overcome by providing a pay phone land line and the broadband Wi-Fi is amazingly quick. The owners are very friendly and gave us helpful suggestions on where to eat and walk etc.
This isn't a gripe but guests should be aware that the nearest pub no longer does food. This caught us unaware on the first night but we found ways round that using designated drivers!
Beautiful location, decorated well and extremely clean and comfortable.
Decorated to detail
No mobile network and phone boot is expensive
We had a fantastic time at this lovely cottage ! Would recommend it to anyone going to walk snowdon, value for money
A desolate place with every comfort you need. Warm welcome.
A perfect escape from it all. The lodge was beautiful and very well equipped. The owners were extremely welcoming making our stay wonderful. Will definitely book a return trip.
Fantastic place, very friendly staff!
Excellent all round. The lodge was clean with great facilities and in a wonderful location. Indeed I don't think the photos do justice to what a beautiful building it is. Add to this the fact that the owners were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming and it was truly a first class experience all round. Can't recommend highly enough.
Good location on the side of a beautiful valley, easy walks straight from the lodge, not far from Betws-y-Coed and access to the rest of Snowdonia. Friendly and helpful owners. Two bathrooms with good showers. Well equipped.
Fabulous and spacious lodge in a beautiful location. Excellent value for money and perfect for groups of family or friends. Can't wait to stay again!!
We came in after 3 days of scrambling in the mountains and were hit by this perfect place and the very warm welcome!!the lodge is very confortable and spacious, we found there everything(!) we needed for cooking.because of bad weather we enjoyed this magic place as an oasis of quiet and recovered perfectly from our exhausting everyday working lives! We hope to turn back, maybe with our families!
