The hotel as a gym which is free to all guest, great way to release the stress at the end of the day
Heavy traffic immediately on doorstep - difficult to access and negotiate road system due to speed and volume of traffic. Very uncomfortable mattress!!
Easy to locate. Frindly, helpful staff. Bright, light, clean throughout.
We had to change rooms twice, was tidy but a lick of paint and maintenence was well overdue
Staff were very helpful and knew what to do
People whee arguing in the corridor, was no night staff doing walk about, had too wait a while too check in because there was no one at reception the place is getting a bit run down needs tarting up, beds are hard!
Last time I stopped it was nice and quite the second time wasn't a repeat of the first unfortunately
Wouldn't say bad as such because what you see is what you get. Think they could do with new mattresses. Room wasn't cleaned on one day.Found receipts from a previous occupant dated a few weeks back.
The lounge area is nice. The continental breakfast is ok and it keeps me going until lunch. Pleasant parking area which means I can leave the car and walk to the my clients with ease. The gym, probably the hotels best feature is spacious and pleasant. And the staff are friendly.
Bed was a standard double and too soft. Room lighting was not great and the room would have benefited from a full length mirror with a power socket next to it. Iron board cover was stained and dirty.
The hotel receptionist was lovely and gave good clear information on the facilities and times.
Everything just ok Wouldn't stay again
The Beds are Rock hard and don,t make for a good nights sleep.
The food was quite reasonable but the restaurant area was dirty.
Pillows smelled of sweat/ found straight pins on floor, strong smell coming from toilet area (drain/sewer)
Comfy bed and warm and clean staff very pleasant
Beds were poor
Staff were very good
They ran out of eggs so couldn't have a copied breakfast!
Good location, clean room. Will recommend it.
Evening meal buffet
Room was tiny, broken and uneven tiles in bathroom, toilet leaked every time you flushed it and the seat was not secure, bed collapsed three times, mattress very lumpy, music from premises below very load and went on till after 11pm which was not mentioned in the description, hotel very tired looking, needs completely redecorating quite grubby in many places. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
TV and shower
the beds not comfy and the eggs and fruits not fresh
Bed was not made in first room issued. Second room Dirty bed covers and sheets room needed a little more attention when cleaning
Location and staff
First room the tv didnt work but was then transferred to another room without any problems
The comfort of the leather bed and the shower room
Went to the room we had booked double bed we had a look it was two singles pushed together standards have dropped
Bar was very comfortable and wasn't too expensive
The mattress had been well used, it sloped down at the edges
Handy for M5, parking
Everything. The place smelled like urine, the bed felt like a sack of old ropes. This hotel is beyond atrocious. The sink drained directly onto the floor. I was switched rooms 3 times. Nigtmare
When I left and never had to return.
Bed linen was really dirty had to use towels to sleep for night
Good location just of the motor way
Being woken up at 1 in the morning due to people running down the hallway being really load.
The comfort of the bed the shower was amazing and good reception the service was good also quite convenient because of asda being over the road and the bus stops were pretty close too all in all pretty good stay really enjoyed it.
The parking was awful very little space available and if your no good at maneuvering your vehicle in tight spaces don't even attempt going in.
It was close to the motorway so easy to get back on the road in the morning.
Breakfast area dirty and not cleaned from night before, radiator in bathroom needed venting, noisy motorway traffic, cracked tiles on bathroom floor, walls needed repainting and restaurant area looked very 'tired, Breakfast the first morning...toaster not working water urn wasnt switched on, cracked plates, odd plates/bowls out for customers,Fridge area was grubby and ice cream machine from night before was not cleaned. After complaint the second morning was better, but not to a standard we have had in other Hotels in the past. Will not say hear again!!
The whole place was tired and in need of some serious refurbishment. The twin room we were allocated had a broken bed (had a leg missing!). Staff were very happy to provide and alternative room when we asked, but I have to question why no-one knew that the bed was broken - are the rooms not checked? The double room had broken tiles in the bathroom which had been replaced with new ones. unfortunately, the new tiles were a different depth to the others and posed a trip hazard. Breakfast was terrible, no hot water for drinks, no tongs provided to serve food.
