I liked the decor in the reception and bar and the gym facilities I did not like how low my bed was to the ground and how dirty and smelly my room seemed.

The staff were good and did their best to ensure a smooth check in. The shower was good as well. The room was dirty, my towels were damp and the heating was on full blast when I entered the room with the window open. The car park was full of people who were not parked properly and the staff in the morning checking out were very slow.

Room was extremely dirty, extremely unconfortable beds and had suspiscious odours! Extremely roughly decorated room, toilets off the restaurant area extremely disgusting, dirt everywhere, the taps are falling off, while using this toilet the lights suddenly went out without warning, had to find my way out in the dark! When we arrrived we had to wait the reception desk for at least half an hour to get checked in! Was simply ignored despite repeatingly ringing the bell for attention, only one member of staff working at the desk?? He was serving customers at the adjoining bar, while we were left standing waiting for ages. Absoloute worse hotel I have stayed in for a long time! Would not wish the experience on my worst enemy. Would advise anyone considering accomodation in Birmingham not to stay in this hotel. Absoultely terrible.

Friendly staff, clean facilities, a nice feel to the hotel and an amazing shower. There was no window and we had a twin room rather than a double when we had booked the latter.

The staff were excellent. Friendly helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was well appointed. It was handy for the town centre. It was low cost. The room heating was easily controllable. The food was poor. My rare steak arrived (still cooking) on a sizziling hot cast iron dish, and with 2 (unrequested) fried eggs on top! Nothing very healthy on offer for breakfast. All the breakfast glasses (and in fact the hotel windows) were very dirty.

Staff were very friendly & polite. We never went to the restaurant until 10.15pm & the chef was more than happy too start cooking for us then. Everything you could want or need for a short stay was in the room. We've already booked for another stay.

The manager was extremely rude, breakfast included actually did not include a cooked breakfast, exceptionally hot, dreadful staff in the restaurant - constantly shouting - and a disgusting meal. This was the very worst hotel I have used in many years of regular business travel.

My room was clean, comfortable with good bathroom facililties. The room had a plentiful supply of tea , coffee and milk unlike some hotel chains that provide just a minimal quantity. All staff that I encountered were pleasant and obliging. On the night I stayed the restaurant was providing a Chinese menu. I have an allergy to an ingredient in Chinese cooking. Without any hesitation a staff member produced an English menu and a very acceptable Surf and Turf was produced. The following day I was staging a course in the conference room at the Travellers Inn. The room was very spacious and airy with all necessary seating and tables. The standard of the buffet lunch was very good. There was absolutely nothing I could find to fault in my stay.
