no side table next to bed.few bulbs out.
The place was beyond dirty. There were stains on the carpets, spills on the wooden and stone floors. Place reeked of stale smoke. We were told we would get a continental breakfast, this turned out to be a sorry selection of cereals and not much else. My friend needed to eat something so she went for breakfast. There were no clean bowls and cutlery available and she had to wash her own. One of our beds had poo stains on it. Deco was tired and uninspired. There were also a large number of immigrants housed at the hotel. Nothing against that but they were smoking right outside the lobby and playing very loud music. Sorry struggling to find anything nice to say about this sorry excuse for a hotel.
Smell of sewage in room 232. Moved to room 202 where there was no wifi signal
Everything !very good gym
Bed was a bit tired . But slept ok.
some of the staff were pleasant. location was in reasonable distance to where we had our convention The price of the room was fair but next time I would rather pay more for a clean comfortable room, the rest of my colleagues were not impressed.
carpet were soiled and dirty needs cleaning. On our arrival the rooms were cold, we had to report it to reception before the heating was put on. we had two room changes due to the smell of the room and the uncleanness. Double beds are small and uncomfortable. I reported the loss of an expensive watch, (this was a birthday present) the manager was very unsympathetic and defensive about her staff. when i told her that I would report it to you she said she will give you the same answer she gave me added that i can report it to the police. the 2 guest who arrived Saturday night they told there was no booking for them, they were sent to a dirty room after I spoke with they found another room,
Didn't like the fact that there weren't enough plug sockets in my room only 2 which in my opinion is poor. some of the funiture in the room could with updating, plus the breakfast canteen was to small. Chose of breakfast was Continental without the chose been given of a full english .
Staff were quite helpful
The bedrooms and bathrooms were poor in conditions bedclothes seemed as if they were not changed stained and crumpled WEE was in the toilet carpet looked very dirty and worn loose and broken floor coverings in bathroom Walking through the corridor the runner carpet dirty and not very inviting Every one I spoke to had the same complaints Even if the rates were reduced I would not stay there again in its present condition
Beds not too comfy
Location n price
Smell of sewage Dirty bedding
Gym was ok
Bed uncomftable, no hot water in shower, tv remote didn't work, dust everywhere.
Ideal place ,good restrant and Nice people
easy location, has a gym, local to Asda and shops.
Parking sometimes gets very busy due to next door restaurant.
I've been to this hotel 7 times and the cleanliness of the bar area on the Sunday morning was awful. At 10am there was empty fast food bags and chips on the floor, glasses in the plant pots by front door. The breakfast was basic . Will not stay here again
Wasn't very clean Room smelt damp If it wasn't for being tired would have left and stayed else where Overpriced
We booked 2 rooms that night, the 1st room (222) is quite good though is not perfectly clean. Staffs are good though.
The 2nd room (225) is awful! Stinks when we came in, dirty and the beddings looks horrible (brown)?! The worst thing is we can't sleep though we're all tired due to long journey because both room are boiling hot! I don't know if the staff that night only tried to reassure us that room temperature will change after sometime but never happened! My kids didn't enjoy staying there sorry to say.
Location was ideal for journey from South Wales to Alton Towers for 1 night stopover, just off J2 of M5. Looks like a converted car showroom. Price wise you get what you pay for
Hotel in general needed a good clean as seemed to be dust everywhere. Greeting on arrival could have been better as guy on Reception seemed more interested in his colleagues' (who had just finished work) conversation. Then we were left waiting while he tried to find card machine to take payment.
Its dirty...disgustingly dirty...breakfast absolutely bad
The friendliness of the chefs and the delicious food on the buffet banquet.
Room not really thoroughly cleaned.. Hair everywhere which is not mine.. Check your iron cause it made a mess on my clothes.. Noise can be easily heard from the hallway and other rooms...
Staff Food Drinks
Could not connect wifi in room.
Nothing to like
Dirty, wardrobe falling apart, holes in walls, walls dirty, towels smelt, linin filthy, staff rude, bathroom mouldy, window didnt shut properly, worst stay in a hotel have ever had!
Ok, so the reception looks great, then you head for your room and the lifts dont work, the rug in the hallway is the first clue, filthy! The bed room looked like it was not cleaned before we got there, hairs on the bed, the shower head was disgusting, just didn't bother to shower. Wont be going there again!
Low price Great staff Parking
No separate bed lights No air conditioning Card keys necessary to keep power and lights on - difficult to charge electronic equipment Limited desk/table facilities 2nd Floor and length of corridors Lack of a proper restaurant on site as advertised on Booking.com - only a choice of an evening ethnic smorgasboard which didn't suit us
Horrible, dirty, very uncomfortable bed. I stayed there once before, but after this stay I am never comming back. Next time I would prefer to sleep in my car.
Room was a small double
Liked the Frankie n bennys type restaurant, nice bar helpful staff would def go again
Didn't really like the fact everyone looking in from road at people eating in restaurant no privacy although looks very modern
