This was an excellent b&b, it is a little way out of Inverness so a car would be useful, our room was fantastic, spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent, we have no hesitation in recommending this establishment, the owners could not be more friendly. How would I recommend this B&B to others, well I would not hesitate to book again. A great break, the wildlife in the early morning was great to watch, we counted at least 24 deer grazing in the field outside our room. Lastly thanks to the owners, such a pleasent couple.

The owners were lovely. They were welcoming and offered the highest level of assistance. The room was clean and cosy. The decor was maybe a little old fashioned however the overall ambiance of the room was excellent. The location was a £15 taxi ride to the city centre.

Daviot Lodge is a high standard, well presented country lodge conveniently near inverness and aviemore. It is easily accessed from the main a9 road, and is relatively near airport facility in a quiet rural location with country views. The Owners and staff are most agreeable and seek to ensure that any stay is both pleasant and relaxing. The relatively new, purpose built facilities are good, they offer a high level of comfort and privacy. Breakfast was generous, care was taken to accomadate everyones tastes with both cooked and uncooked foods offered, accompanied with fresh fruits, yoherts and healthy options. The large log fire was central in a generous lounge area where quality furnishings, reading and dvd materials available to use. This stay was most pleasant, my husband and I give a high recomendation to any prospective visitors.

Great peaceful location. Clean rooms but very small en-suite bathrooms with no bath. Nice compliment of having sherry and Ferrero Roche x 2 in the room. No baked beans in a full Sottish breakfast!!but every other food stuff in breakfast of top quality.

This was, without doubt, one of the best B&Bs I have ever encountered. Above all, to hear a local accent, to experience true highland hospitality, to feel truly welcomed: WOW!

The owner's attention was total without being overwhelming. Every detail was covered including many which I simply wasn't expecting. The location is quiet and while out of town is easily accessible. I have stayed in more hotels than I care to think about for several decades now and this b&b ranked with the best. Nothing. It was quite exceptional.

We could relax because we felt the place was run for our comfort. We could sit on easy chairs in our bedroom or had the choice of 2 lovely lounges. Breakfast was organised very efficiently as every evening you filled in a tick sheet of what you would like and the time you wanted it. The food was first class. The Lodge is surrounded by fields, hills and woods and we saw many birds and also deer very near the house,

The owners have worked very hard to make the stay at the Lodge a very pleasurable and relaxing experience. Their attention to detail in the layout and provision in the rooms would be usually found in the top end range of hotels. Absolutely great value.

They had wonderful little touches like chocolates and sherry in the room as well as chocolates in the family room. The breakfasts were very hearty and they offered more than in the average B&B.

Very accommodating. Can't do enough for you. I stayed 3 nights and in the last night there was a problem with the lights. An electrician was called out and the problem rectified in a couple of hours. That shows someone who takes pride in service.
