Owners were very friendly and the service was excellent. We were allowed to book in at 12 noon even though the time specified was much later. |

The proprietors are very friendly and helpful, made us a reservation at a local pud with excellent food. Attention to detail was impressive. Just a lovely place to stay and definitely the best of all on our two-week trip. |

Everything about this guest house was exemplarily. Two of our party work within the travel industry for a large high end tour operator and are familiar with some of the most prestigious hotels in the world, neither of us could find a single fault with the Daviot Lodge. 6 star among guest houses - both in terms of the accommodation itself and the friendliness of the staff. |

Friendly welcome. Very comfortable room. Nice little touches. Bed turned down and lit candles on our return from dinner. Good breakfast. Lovely setting with great country views. A very nice little guest house, a great place to stopover if you are traveling up or down. |

The room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious and the complimentary sherry and shortbread and the fresh rose all made for a great stay. The level of luxury far exceeded the modest price. There was a minor issue with the hot-water system the night we stayed, which meant we had to wait an hour before we could have a shower after we arrived. Although this wasn't a big problem, the host took 10 GBP off our bill as a goodwill gesture, which was very nice of her. |

Comfortable, quiet and peaceful (except for neighbouring guests). Internet access. Excellent cooking. There was only a shower in the bathroom. I prefer a bath. I could clearly hear guests in the adjacent room I felt there was poor soundproofing. |

Everything, The location was ideal, th eroom was absolutely perfect and the family that run it could not do a better job if they tried. Nothing at all it was perfect! Although I would suggest putting together a brief list of local and popular restaurants in Inverness to put into the rooms as dinner is not available at the lodge. |
