Beautiful peaceful location; Graceful and comfortable house; Perfectly cooked breakfast; Comfortable bed; Candle-lit hall, when I arrived late in the evening; Thoughtful, generous and kind proprietors; Red squirrels and lots of wonderful birds breakfasting just outside the dining room window

Everything. A quiet countryside location, yet less than 10 minutes drive from Inverness. I've stayed here before and I hope to be back sometime soon. A high quality, clean and very well run establishment. Nothing to dislike whatsoever.

Staff is very helpful in every way, location was excellent: 10 min from Inverness and yet quiet location in the countryside, views are lovely, breakfast is excellent, beds are good. A little bit to much fragrances in the room, assuming due to perfumed cleaning products, gave me an allergic reaction.

Guest house friendliness with a hotel feel. Only 5 mins drive from Inverness in a beautiful location. Margaret and Alex were perfect hosts. All of the facilities were spacious and extremely well appointed. Immaculatly clean. Huge choice for breakfast, locally sourced and cooked to order. Lots of lovely touches, their attention to detail was that of a 5 star hotel. This is a hidden gem in Inverness.

Our room was large with a poster bed, and large windows overlooking the nearby pasture. We saw cows and a red deer from our bedroom windows. Margaret and her husband were charming and helpful, even providing binoculars for breakfast so we could better observe the birds at their feeders. Beautiful location-rural setting--close to Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns and Cawdor Castle. We did not mind having to go to Inverness (5 miles) or closeby Culloden Moor Inn for dinner. You need to have a car to stay here, and it is on a single-track road.

Cleanliness and presentaion, value for money, facilities in rooms, lounge and reception, good parking, great views and the breakfast which was amazing the best in some thirty years of global travel. Also the welcome and departure from the owners which was personal friendly and kind. We will be back. Simply the best. *****

Lovely house and accommodation. Peaceful setting away from main road, in fact the house is by itself with country side all around. The standard is high. Fantastic breakfast. Lovely hosts. I normally stop in hotels and not B&B but I will be returning to Daviot Lodge when I am back in the area. Highly recommended. Not a thing.

The location near Daviot a small village. The place is very quiet. Daviot Lodge is alone in the nature but if you use a car it's really fast to go to Inverness and the airport is 15-20 minutes.

This was an excellent b&b, it is a little way out of Inverness so a car would be useful, our room was fantastic, spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent, we have no hesitation in recommending this establishment, the owners could not be more friendly. How would I recommend this B&B to others, well I would not hesitate to book again. A great break, the wildlife in the early morning was great to watch, we counted at least 24 deer grazing in the field outside our room. Lastly thanks to the owners, such a pleasent couple.
