Dog friendly, good location near the beach and facilities. Very good food and service.

The staff were very friendly and polite. The food was excellent and the accomodation was to a high standard, plenty of space in the room. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the beach and just far enough away from the noisy end!

The only thing that let it down for us was the bed, it did not match the standard of the rest of the room. Time for a new luxury mattress in the Attic room we think!

Really enjoyed The Lodge, lovely atmosphere, staff wonderful, will be staying again soon.

We stayed for two nights in an annexe called 'The Coal Bunker'. The room was quite large, beautifully furnished with a huge bed, good sized T.V. screen, and the bathroom was excellent with large shower and bath with jacuzzi, very modern! Staff were very friendly and helpful. We dined in the hotel both nights and the food was excellent! We were travelling with two bicycles and the staff were most helpful in accommodating them too!

Our room had very little in the way of natural light as the few windows there are, were quite small! My husband hit his head on the very low doorway twice! There was a constant humming coming from what appeared to be a boiler room which every now and then would get louder as though someone had switched on the hot water taps!! This was not noticeable in the daytime but at night I like total silence in order to sleep well!

The room was beautiful, the staff very friendly and helpful, the food superb and the bar lively what more could we want.

We really enjoyed the accommodation, the room was comfortable, the bathroom amazing. We loved the fact it was so dog friendly and close to the beach. We also appreciated wireless internet and the friendly staff.

We were slightly disappointed with our meals, the kitchen did offer to take back one of our meals however my husband chose to plough on with it and they did give him a complimentary dessert.

The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, the restaurant lit with real log fires and candles, the bar section had a large tv for watching sports events but was long enough you could get away from the noise if footie's not your thing! The room we had was gorgeous, warm and very comfy. There was nothing bad about the place at all!!

Friendly, efficient and prompt service. Relaxed atmosphere. Cosy pub-style dining or more formal restaurant. Quiet bedrooms. All made for a relaxing weekend. Lovely breakfasts too.

A great pub/hotel combination. We stayed in the "Garden Shed" room in the courtyard which was well designed and extremely comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good indeed, including the best venison I've eaten in the UK - look on the Specials board as well as the menu. Breakfasts were good too.

Everything. We had a relaxing time in a lovely environment. Staff friendly and food delicous. We came on the reccommendation of our daughter and her fiance, who have visited previously. We will definately visit again.

Thought room rate at £140 per night a bit too expensive

It's in beautiful Old hunstanton, literally 3 minutes walk from the beach. Staff was increadibly friendly and attentive. Food in the restaurant was excellent. In the evening the bar turned into a place where local families had dinner, and young people met for billiards and drinks. This was fantastic, you could first enjoy an excellent, more formal dinner, and then go to the lively bar and have a nice evening among locals.

As a regular business traveler it made a refreshing change to the normal business type hotels in this price range. i would stay there again

breakfast was served from 8am after chatting to staff earliest we could get was 07:30am which if you're there on business you may need to start before that.

Breakfast was fine but the evening meal was disappointing. I would stay here again but next time I'll eat elsewhere.

Very smart and well maintained - everything seemed fresh from the decor to the food. Staff were attentive (see below) and friendly. Food was tasty Room was well designed and clean

Dinner was at least an hour late each night. Shower head broke Food and drinks seemed pricey but were in keeping with other venues in the area.

The lodge is ideally located for exploring the area, you can walk to beach, to other pubs and resturants in the area.Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are very helpful,attentive and friendly. All our group enjoyed the stay and said they would return.

There was nothing that we didn't like however you can always improve dependent on your expectations
