Friendly staff, nice views
must have a car if you want to get anywhere ! Also not many places to eat so you eat in the over priced hotel restaurant . Hmm.
Beautiful location, staff were great and the food in the restaurant was absolutley amazing. I would recomend this to everyone and we will definitely be back.
The views of the loch and food
In room boot drier, sorry Sauna.
The view from bedroom was lovely and the room was very comfortable although the lighting was poor. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Should have been lighting on the decking area as it was very dark.Quality of breakfast wasnt great, sausages like rubber, tomatoes warm and raw and potatoe scones like cardboard and full of greace.
Great stay away for a couple of nights. Great staff and relaxing atmosphere.
Would be good if there was a gym.
Room comfortable and enjoyed having a sauna in the room
Food Service Check out time
Location was excellent as was the food. Just felt the room was looking slightly tired and in need of redecoration, some areas of the pool and spa facilities were not too clean!
View from the room was fabulous.
Everything was good, the view, the suite we stayed in and the hotel. Two nights food was excellent loch views by candlelight from the restaurant. The swimming pool and steam rooms were fun. Ideal for a quiet romantic break which was exactly what we wanted
couldnt fault the place
Right on the banks of Loch Lomond, beautiful scenery and a short walk to the little town of Luss. Leisure facilities were ideal - clean and quiet - when we were there.
Family room, while spacious and open, was a little too open plan, as the bath/shower area is fully visible from the rest of the room so lacked privacy.
The location is second to non.
I've been staying at this hotel for 10 years or more and sadly have seen it's deterioration in both standards and decor. The only thing i go back for is the setting which is magnificent.
Shower ran hot and cold Evening meal in restaurant was not good value
Nicec comfortable rooms Amazing views and good food by the lake made this unforgettable experience We actually stayed longer then we planned
Staff very friendly
Everything about the hotel was lovely, the room was amazing the staff friendly the food was really good. The view is to die for. The bar area was really comfy and welcoming.
lack of suitable socket to plug in kettle and hair dryer. found one eventually but was out of way.
location. nice room overlooking the loch. very clean.
food could have been better. first night ok, second night not good, veg greatly underdone, meat overdone! disappointing for the price.
Relaxing atmosphere great scenery Fine food good wine great time!
Hotel was lovely, the staff at the hotel where really friendly and helpful especially the reception girls. Food was good, rooms where nice and spacious, very clean with really comfy beds.We will definitely be making another visit.
A LARGE PART OF THE CAR PARK WAS CORDONED OFF WITH CONES FOR A PRIVATE FUNCTION, THE CONES WERE THERE FOR THE WHOLE OF OUR STAY & THERE WAS NO FUNCTION & A PRACTICALLY EMPTY CAR PARK AREA. THE REST OF THE CAR PARK WAS VERY BUSY & WE HAD A PROBLEM PARKING OUR CAR.
We enjoyed everything about our stay, the view from our room, the friendly staff, the leisure facilities, the location, and we would also like to mention the Lochlomond inn, and the lovely Bistro The village Rest. We will be back to the lodges on Lochlomond without a doubt :) our kids will also love it.
Although we loved everything, and the room was very clean etc etc, I would like to see the lovely checked carpets in the room and hallways less stain free, apart from this, no complaints.
Were originally given downstairs room ,asked for veranda room and staff obliged .Beautiful loch view from bedroom window.
Stayed in an Executive Double, had a great view over the loch. The room was spacious, well designed and clean. Pool and Spa was perfect for a pre dinner swim and the breakfast had a great selection and all high quality.
Nothing. The rain, if that counts!
Outstanding views across the Loch. Staff were very helpful and polite.
The mattress was awful. Very little sleep obtained.
The view of Loch Lomond from the bedroom and the restaurant is unbeatable
No one seems to care for this hotel. The food was poor quality with little flavour. The staff failed to create the sort of friendly efficient welcome that this great location deserves
