Absolutley fabulous views of the loch from the breakfast room and bar. Our room didn't have the best view but I'm sure most of the others do. The bath and bathroom were great though! The location at Luss is stunning with walks from the door and cafes and pubs close by.
Having to go outside to get to the pool! Although I imagine this not to be a problem in summer!
View from our room amazing sent photos to family around the world
Tables not cleared for a long time.lounge needs refurbished, poor choice in menu,
Staff fantastic, a lovely relaxing break.
My only dislike was they had no Pinto Grigio
We got this deal last minute the night before, 59£ b&b. Room was lovely , cosy traditional & the bathroom very modern & bath big enough for 2. Breakfast was lovely really really nice. We opted to go to the Loch Lomond arms hotel for dinner as we wanted to go a wander & couldnt fault that either-10/10 for food, ambience &staff were so nice!
Our room was above a bathroom & the hand drier was on quite regularly which disturbed us a wee bit...that was only negative thing!
The area and view were outstanding.
Didn't get best deal as advertised. Waited nearly 2 hours for a 2 coarse meal that was overcooked and cold. Nearly all public areas are in desperate need of renovation or repair especially the chairs and sofas in the lounge area.
Pet friendly cleanliness and service throughout
Superb views of loch. Great room. Great food.
Poor service in dining room: 1. Being seated for dinner then no one taking even a drinks order for ages and then only when I complained to the Manager. 2. Asking for some water twice and it not coming, again only attended to after complaint to supervisor. 3. Dirty dishes left on table for about 30 mins after main course finished. Only cleared after brought to attention of staff. 4. Seated for breakfast, asked if wanted tea or coffee and toast but then non delivered for ages and then after yet another complaint to supervisor. I think most of young waiting staff mean well but are clearly under trained. This hotel is very expensive and at these prices I wo;ld expect better service
Poor service , waited ages to be seated for meal even tho pre booked table , set menu was rubbish for price at £29.99 per person.
Great facilities and breathtaking views of Loch Lomond!
So tranquil and relaxing, very comfortable accommodation perfect for romantic break
The location and staff both compliment each other superbly. We are currently planning our next visit.
I think staff were very pleasant and helpful
The property was looking very run down as the paint on the stairwell was chipped the decor was also looking very worn
All of the staff were professional, kind and courteous. We had a great time, the food was delicious and the room was lovely with a fantastic view. We are planning our next trip, next time for longer!
It was my fiancées birthday been to a lot of nice hotels but this beats them all beautiful hotel went to the The Corbett Suite, stunning scenery lovely staff and very nice food in the restaurant, we will definitely be back to this beautiful place.
Attentive, helpful but discreet staff allowed me to enjoy the hotel and it's surroundings. Having off site customer meetings and preparing a commercial proposal whilst looking over a snow capped Ben Lomond - what could be better?!!..
The use by the staff of the phrase 'No problem' rather than 'yes', 'certainly' or 'you're welcome'. Guests pay for service whether it's a problem for the hotel or the staff or not.
The convivial atmosphere of staff added to the picturesque landscape which gave our break a added sense of relaxation and enjoyment.
Attentive staff, meal lovely and room with a fantastic view .
Pool area needs a bit of upgrading, as not very welcoming.
View, room quality, food.
Cost of buying a drink at the bar.
The room was first class, view was amazing and facilities were brilliant, i proposed to my girlfriend while we stayed there and it was the perfect setting with the snow all round and amazing room
Could not fault anything about out stay
Location, Views ,staff, food was excellent
Very small point but some of the lounge furniture and seating were a bit tired
Great views, excellent location for relaxation good sized rooms, well designed with all you might need
Food in on-site restaurant could be better value,eg "average" chicken dish at nearly £18. Some of fixtures a little tired- chip out of sink, rust marks on wall at bath tap and toilet roll holder loose on toilet wall.
Lovely room with sauna and a balcony overlooking the lock.Towels, toiletries and refreshments replaced daily by friendly staff Warm on cold days and informal relaxed atmosphere. Spa and really good pool nice to relax in after a day out and about. Good evening meal
Some communal areas needed refreshing eg leak in corridor, dining chairs with worn upholstery. Breakfast variable cold buffet ok but hot food poor
