The welcome we received on arrival at reception. pillows hollow fibre/foam, surely feather pillows could be offered rather than having to potentially seek them, if they were on offer at all. Did not think this hotel rated AA 3Stars. Decor tired and 'lived in' both public areas and rooms. Seems to cater more for golfing fraternity. Bar meals no more than basic. |

Standard of the room and swimming pool areas excellent and very clean. Staff were efficent but not friendly. We had a meal in the bar and the waiter forgot part of the meal and when he brought it over we had no apology. A smile and a bit of friendliness goes a long way and costs nothing! |

Good location. Breakfast not sufficient to cater for number of guests and service was poor. Reception staff were disorganised and offhand on check out. Rooms were hot and not sufficiently ventilated. |

It was very convenient for us except for the above. Apart from the dangerous floor in the shower room the disable room is situated a long way from the entrance to the hotel. Wheelchair users have more accessories to bring on holiday so several trips were neccessary to bring these in. |

The restaurant was impressive with a varied dinner menu, good food and good-value pricing. I liked the golf course which was in very good condition though I did not play during my visit. Breakfast service could be improved. For example there were long delays in refilling food trays when they ran out and tea/coffee and toast were served too early and therefore cold when consumed. |

Swimming pool was excellent. Hotel was quiet and staff were efficient and friendly. It was predominantly a golf club, which did not come across clearly when searching for appropriate accommodation and making the booking. |

room was OK, bed comfortable. TV kept changing channels of its own accord..... the breakfast facilities - shocking to say the least. There was a golf match on and they were a bit busy, to be fair. But the restaurant tables were not cleared, instead they chose to set up some more tables in a adjacent room, and heard the hotel guests in like cattle. Inexperienced staff who do not have a clue about customer service. |

Use of the swimming pool. Countryside. Cleanliness. Breakfast food nearly run out by 10.00am when it was supposed to be served until 10.30 and only a few items were refilled - juice and beans! Tables not cleared, we had to clear a table for ourselves. |

Front desk staff were very friendly, room was nice and clean, very good value for money. I thought the service in the restaurant was quite slow, and the menu was fairly limited. |

The very kind personnel, always willing to help. The excellent beds. The excellent fitness and swimming facilities. We did not experience the restaurant as prices seemed rather high and as some guest reviews did not really recommend it.... It is very near a military airport but the rooms are very well isolated to prevent most of the noise. |

Heavily populated by golfers so I assume it has a reasonable reputation for the golf course. We were there as a matter of location to other activities. Clean and generally well mainatined facility For som estrange reason we had a fold up bed i nthe room. On the first night I asked it be removed as we had to walk around it. Two night later it was still there. It cost them the extra candy bar on the pillow every night for their lack of follow through. |

I did find the staff were very helpful and courteous. The summer ball of the golf club did take over the restaurant and it was not made clear that this might be the case when we booked. |

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The bed linen was nice and crisp. On arrival the room had only been issued with towels for one, despite the booking for 2. The towels, although clean, were on the dull side. The buffet breakfast was not hot, but to be fair we were towards the end of the breakfast time. |
