Very Quite location.
Not enough pillows
This house was very convenient for coming of the dover ferry. It was of suitable size with a compact kitchen equips with all the needful items.
House needs tidied outside and cleaned inside. There is damp in the bathroom (if the fan was turned on this might help) and it needs a good clean, as do the stairs and the skirting-board.
Self catering facilities. Comfortable seating. Parking space. Spacious bathroom with lots of hot water.
Cutlery didn't match the standard of the kitchen equipment. No dishwasher tablet for the dishwasher! Not enough towels to go round.
Weird location (distressed properties?). Miles from any of Kent attractions. Not a pleasant village. Lumpy beds. Not enough towels for 3 adults at £120 was a rip off!
Clean and comfortable 2 bed house which allows you to prepare something to eat after a five hour plus journey. We went out for a walk and found a shop in reasonable proximity. Ideal for our one night stay.
Well equipped facilities, but toilet roll nearly became an issue.
It just needed a good clean as a bit grotty in places.
The house was clean and comfortable.
It's in the middle of no where and Sittingbourne is awful. They only gave us 2 towels for 3 off us, 3 tea bags and some stale cereals does not constitute breakfast for 3 people for 4 days. There was hardly any cutlery and no salt and pepper.
A modern 2 bed house where I could cook for myself and have the luxury of kitchen/ lounge downstairs and bedrooms upstairs which is much better than just a hotel room. Very clean and simply but nicely/ considerably furnished.
House was cold, but I made use of spare duvet whilst watching TV. Also I assume milk should have been provided to go with cereal and one tea bag- more tea and coffee would have been appreciated for two nights. Location is remote so you need a car and to take food as no shops/ pubs within walking distance.
House both outside/inside is nice and new and everything is working well.
1. Could not find the DVD player. 2. Effectively, it's got 3 adult beds and no proper lodging for kids - the 2 beds for children are actually baby travel cots. We had one of them arranged but only very simple bed cover and pillow/one-sheet-blanket were provided.
Lovely house. We were pleased with everything about it. We stayed for three nights visiting family nearby. Will be booking again and would definitely recommend to others.
Very good value for money. Lots of space (you rent a fully equipped 2 bedroom house with a continental breakfast for the price of most B&B bedrooms)
A little tricky to locate if your satnav isn't up to date, as the house is on a brand new (still being constructed in some parts) housing estate.
warm welcome. great house all as advertised and some little extra's all added to a lovely stay breaking our journey to the channel ferries. would definitely stay there again and will recommend it to anybody.
difficult to find only fault.
Lovely little house as described Could not fault it at all
Good location, but see bad points. Pretty ffully equiped Conffortable furniture Quiet area Parking outside door. Good building security
Gas hob di not selff ignite, and no lighter. TV signal was bad quality, offten as low as 50%. Some channels cut-out Iff windows openned, many moskietoes.
It was a good location for us as we were visiting family in Sittingbourne. We were quite comfortable The neighbours are nice. It's a quiet area. There is free car parking right outside the front door. Lots of storage space. The Lady that was there to meet us with the keys was really lovely, she came at 2 am to meet us as we got there much later than expected because of car trouble.
kitchen benches and the cooker/hob could do with a good scrub, to be honest we barely used anything in the kitchen because I wasn't about to start scrubbing the kitchen down when I was supposed to be on holiday... There was what looked like felt pen scribbles everywhere, on the chairs, up walls, on carpets, beds and even on the tv screen, it's everywhere! There was a fire in the house next door when we stayed there ... we were evacuated for a while, but before we were allowed back into the house the fireman went in to check that it was safe, he was not too impressed that he wasn't able to check properly as there were locks on some of the doors. Could have done with a dvd player. Could do with more hangers too. Needs a new ironing board cover, I ironed a pair of black trousers and ended up with little shiny dianond shapes all over them because the ironing board cover is so thin. There was only one set of keys which means you both/all have to be coming back at the same time or you have to know what time the person with the keys is going to be back so you can get in. Really don't think it was worth £340.00 for 4 nights, I would have thought maybe £60 - 65 pounds a night instead of the £85.00 a night that we paid.
