Excellent location and good value for money. Stayed over the Easter break and very few other guests hence breakfast (which was very good) was the only meal on offer. Understand the hotel is fuller in the week with business guests.

Friendly welcome, reception staff very helpful. Room was very nice and not short on little touches. Coffee and tea facilities good with gorgeous biscuits. Bathroom very clean and plenty of towels and toiletries. Bedroom was spacious and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The tv in the bedroom probably would be better if it was a little bigger, but thats possibly personal prefference.We ate at Eleven Restaurant and we were not impressed with the menu having a choice of only four starters and four mains. The food we did have was passible but nothing special.

Comfortable bed and great location, close to local pubs and markets etc. Hard to get staff attention at the check-in desk. Not very atmospheric, due to few guests i suppose (contrary to booking.com saying there were few rooms left). Overpriced for the standard of the rooms but has a beautiful garden.

Right in centre of Ulverston, just off the Market Square, great for partner whilst I was off on business. Comfortable room. Parking in pay and display directly opposite Hotel; charges apply 8am-6pm so is free outside these hours.

Friendly efficient staff, good location, nice garden that would be attractive in summer. Cold bathroom with lack of shelving for storage. Poorly placed television that couldn't be seen for posts on the four poster bed. Curtains on the bed that blocked the light from the bed side lamps and prevented reading in bed. Bed over soft.

The location was excellent, right in the centre of town. The room was lovely, quite large with a four poster bed. I thought it was a little over priced compared to other accommodation in the area, but then it is the Lakes !
