The Lonsdale Hotel

We enjoyed everything about the hotel. Friendly, Clean, Loved the Decor. Breakfast was excellent. They made us feel at home. We will be going back. Great Value, They made us feel so special.

Lonsdale hotel it a gem in the heart of Blackpool. The period decor is fabulous, Steven and Carl were warm, welcoming and very helpful. Added bonus was the private parking. The room my husband and I stayed in was pure luxury, spotless, well equipped with relevant facilities. Thanks Stuart & Amanda x

Having spent holidays in Blackpool for the past 45 yrs, this was the BEST hotel I have ever visited. The exquisite & unique surroundings were delightful, and Stephen & Carl were the best hosts you could ever hope for ! Cannot wait to return, the hospitality is superb, as was the little rendition of piano playing by Stephen, thanks guys !

Our stay at Lonsdale Hotel was truly magical! We went down to Blackpool just for 1 night to attend the Red Rose Awards and did not expect this trip to be much more than a regular 1 night business trip, my we were wrong! Steven and Carl from Lonsdale made our stay so memorable and personal! The Hotel is a little treasure that everyone should visit. All furnished to perfection with period décor, it really is the Victorian dream. Steven and Carl were so incredible kind and helpful, I just cannot list all the good things they did for us! For other vegan or special diet people though I need to mention that they happily accommodated us with vegan breakfast, that was delicious, and Steven even played us a couple of pieces on his incredible Grant piano while eating! My partner was in tears (good tears Carl, no worries! :)) I can't thank them enough for their absolute beautiful care and it is the least I can do to leave my review so more people know about this gem in Blackpool (sorry for making it so long, I could talk for hours) I'm sure to visit back soon and experience the rest of their Victorian rooms as well take the pleasure of seeing them again. Total complete package, Stephen and Carl were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they made you feel at home.

As always the fact the owners know and remember your name. How quiet it is and yet again the FABULOUS breakfasts

the bed was a double but we have a king so my feet dropped of the end. But that is personal choice and not the hotels fault. Would have been nice to have a bath but again thats personal choice.

We planned to stay in a B&B in Blackpool and found the Lonsdale by chance on the internet. Our expectations of a B&B were far exceeded when greeted by Stephen and Karl. Service and comfort of booking commenced immediately the booking was made with a friendly text asking our arrival times and parking requirements. We were greeted and helped with our bags and shown to our lovely room (Edwardian suite). Stephen and Karl were extremely friendly and helpful in guiding us when we discussed what kind of entertainment we sought for the evening. The recommendations proved excellent as we had a great night. The room was warm and welcoming, extremely clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Everything required right down to drinks glasses, a fridge, iron and board - small attention to detail which you wouldn't ordinarily find in a random choice B&B. This hotel is far from random, full of character and we are not hesitating to book to stay again on our next visit to Blackpool. Oh and the breakfast was well fit :). As we were heading for home, we chatted and laughed on the pavement with Stephen and Karl for over 20 minutes as if we were close friends.

Fantastic friendly hosts, fab furnishings and an extremly comfy bed. Hotel was absolutely spotless.In a great position for shops , Winter gardens ETC and with the added bonus of garage parking.

Very friendly welcome, secure car parking, very comfortable and excellent breakfast. Our first visit but by the time we left it felt like we had been going there for years ! Already reserved room for same trip next year.

Excellent hosts who made us feel very welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Fantastic breakfasts,beautifully themed decor, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Good location and secure parking. Would certainly return . Gina and I were made to feel at home immediately

We stayed in the regency room and it was gorgeous, for the price an absolute bargain. Done to a very high stand. Owners are lovely people and made the stay even more special. Only a 5-10 min walk to Blackpool centre and just a 2 min walk to beach. Will definitely be staying here again!

No shelf in shower to put shampoo, shower gel on etc, but this in no way is a deal breaker and didn't bother me to a high extent.

The owners Karl and Ian go more than the extra mile, excellent in all aspects of our stay. Noticing the birthday cards in the room Ian played happy birthday as a surprise. Nothing is too much trouble, car is parked for you, cases are taken to the room. The room decore has to been seen to truly appreciate the level of care. We had been before and were pleased but this time they went even further to make our stay so enjoyable.
