Excellent Service and Quality assured
No pool and limited Spa but small issues really. Parking is an additional extra and an expensive one.
Close to shops. Nice atmosphere. Reception staff most friendly and professional.
Breakfast service was slow.
From the concierge , Cheif ,bar staff receptionist and staff we came into contact with was First class . Decor in the room very nice, Cleanliness exceptional ! Great location near to all shops and an array of restaurants to choose from within a mile radius of the hotel . A fabulous stay special mention to Kumar on reception very welcoming and helpful.
It was a great, peaceful stay. Rooms were huge with great facilities. We ate out for dinner at Turtle Bay on Oxford Street. But breakfast at the hotel was good with lots of choice. Checkout was simply and effective.
On arrival, I was greeted by the doorman who and I quote said "Are you sure you are at the right hotel, Premier Inn is down the road?" I laughed it off at the time because I didn't want to cause a scene especially as this was a surprise stay for my Fiancé. But I think that is absolutely disgusting behaviour and slightly racist. This isn't what I'd expect from a 5* establishment. The doorman clearly judged me and my wife to be on arrival, which is completely wrong. We've stayed in 5* hotels in Zurich, Monaco and Algrave very recently and wasn't looked down upon like we felt on Thursday afternoon. The comment was tongue and cheek but I thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention. I'll highly doubt I'll book at your hotel again if your employees are judging their customers on first glance. I sent an email to Lowry but no response so far. Not a good look.
Loved the standard of the hotel. Staff was so very helpful and go out of their way to please you. Amenities were Great. Rooms size was impressive. Beds so comfortable! Small details were great.
Hair in the bath on arrival. Main meal in restaurant was not hot it was Luke warm and for that price I expected better quality.
The staff were excellent happy to help with anything..
There was a function on down stairs with loud music until 11.30 in the evening which we were a little surprised about on a Sunday night..
Service was second to none . I've stayed here a few times and am never disapointed
Cleaning lid left in the room , I just put it in the bin . If that's all I can find keep up the great work
I liked virtually everything in the hotel to be honest. From the moment I checked in at 9.00am, I was pleased to find out my room was ready and allowed me to relax before my meetings began, after my 5 hour journey. My room was large and very comfortable, with wifi freely available and a good choice of TV channels films etc. The Riverview Bar was a good place for my meetings food and service also very good. I would strongly recommend The Lowry.
Only paying for Car Park, that should be free for guests, but only a small moan,
Great Location, Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Greeting at the entrance staff very pleasant and helpful
Trouser press in room broken Bulb missing in the shaving mirror plug didn't work in the bath damp marks on the walls in the bathroom! Air conditioning switch broken and inoperative. milk sachets in room enough for one drink!
Bed. Room size. Staff friendliness and helpfulness. Easy to access
Some views are undermined by regeneration works
Liked everything, but the staff attention was brilliant
Coudl not find one fualt.
The hotel is in a good location for access to the City centre; the room we had was on the 6th floor and was spacious with good views of the River and Salford area. Regarding the Spa and other facilities we did not have time during our stay to sample them.
We were in room 629 which was a deluxe room, but for me had no "Wow factor". The layout of the room is strange! Upon entre to the room you are greeted with small dressing room which has limited wardrobe space (which is inadequate r a long stay). This also contains the dressing table, which has the Tea and Coffee making facilities on it (which my wife assures me, are in the way) these would be much better located in the main room area. The Bathroom is large but has a standard 750mm Shower cubical and std size bath, and not much style. I found the main room overall is very sparsely furnished and uninviting. And finally the breakfast, this is served (or rather not served) on a buffet style help yourself basis, you have a choice of Continental or English cost around £30 each, we went for the Traditional Full English option (at a small premium of course) and I am afraid to say this was not good at all. It is served from a small island buffet table which contains 4 x Cool terrines. The food was cold with no choice of how your eggs were cooked (Scrambled or nothing) all the serving spoons were covered in the cold remnants of previous attempts of guests trying to serve themselves!! (Which in it’s self is a work of art not fitting of the “Lowry”) Sorry we won’t be staying again.
The breakfast choice is good.
The food is poor (excluding breakfast) certainly NOT 5 star standard. The bar area is inadequate and the cocktails poor.
The hotel, rooms and restaurant are excellent. Good location and car parking
Fantastic service, well located, lovely room. Will most definately return.
Car park price a bit steep.
Had a wonderful stay was part of a wedding present for my husband we were married recently . The hotel staff made it so special for us and got to see man utd before the game...seems i am the best wife ever!!
Location location location
Has the feel of an aspirational Travelodge - room very basic for the money, bathroom particularly so. At least £100 too expensive. Drive up from the road is least inspiring approach of any hotel in the west.
i could not complain about anything it was perfect staff friendly and went out of their way to make our stay pleasent
The place was incredible, everyone of the staff are very polite and atentive!
The bed and pillows weren't that comfortable
