The staff provided us with a bottle of wine as we were celebrating a special occasion. This was much appreciated and a lovely gesture. We did not have a canal view - I would definitely suggest trying to get one as feel it would make a much better stay.

The staff were so friendly and very accommodating, room service fantastic and very quick. View from room was lovely, plenty space in rooms Drinks are too expensive, just because u can afford to stay in a nice hotel it doesn't make u wasteful with your money! Drink prices need to be reduced do people aren't being ripped off

Staff very attentive and friendly around reception and bar area. surroundings very bright with attention to cleanliness. I even had the bath/shower dried out whilst the bedding was turned down. we booked into the restaurant for a meal, surroundings very good, staff polite but service was alet down. Waited twenty minutes from being seated to our order being taken, no wine or drinks offered, and the two things I wanted off the menu were not available (as it was a Bank holiday and it was busy). This was very disappointing, especially as this is a 5* hotel.

Superb Hotel. Spotlessly clean. Very Luxurious. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout. Great Location. I would have no hesitation in stopping at this wonderful hotel again.

The location was amazing, so close to the shops! The staff were extremely helpful and the bed was so comfortable. We had an issue on the second night of our stay which was addressed promptly and we were given another room immediately. The room was very cold and we couldn't get the heating to work; however if we had mentioned it to the staff I am sure it would have been dealt with straight away.

Huge clean rooms, lovely staff, excellent service in the bar and at breakfast. Gorgeous views of river, can't wait to go back, oh and 2 minute walk to shops!!

Beautiful hotel within five minute walk from Deansgate and all the main shopping areas. Rooms extremely spacious and reception staff very welcoming . Really felt like we were having a luxurious weekend away . Bar prices fairly expensive which maybe explained why it was so quiet when we visited which is a shame as it is a lovely place to spend the evening .

The staff were very professional and keen to help. The decor was modern and smart and there was a good view from the bar. The bed in our room was huge and comfy! It is quite expensive and there are no tea/coffee making facilities in room, although there's a note saying they would send them up if required. Didn't have breakfast because of the price.

Was disapointed with restaurants waiting time for the food. We had to skip starters and desert due to the time it took the waiter to take our order after 5-10minutes of waiting patiently .Once ordered we had to wait 50minutes for the food which we thought was very poor considering there were only 6 customers there. We had no apologies from the staff. Rated the restaurant 2/5.

This is a great hotel i have stayed on a number of occasions, although it can be costly during your stay, everything is very good, the answer is to book in advance and try to get a deal.Most things are overpriced such as the breakfast at £19.50 and a bottle of beer £5.
