Noise fron the main road.

Convienient for staying nearby to a wedding reception we were attending. Friendly staff and comfortable room. Good for 1 night stay. Excellent breakfast.

Lyndhurst itself is a nightmare for constant traffic jams. Needs a bypass!. Taxis charge exorbitant rates for short journeys. £14 for a 3 mile trip!

It was well placed because we were with family camping at Denny wood. The breakfast was excellent and the room was very comfortable with a wet room shower.

The actual room was super basic, the bathroom very unglam! Not sure what can be done but the noise of the traffic awful The breakfast was very average.

Some where to stay after the New Forest Show.

It is just by some traffic lights, so it is very noisy, cars and bikes rev up, it was difficult to get to sleep, eventually the traffic stopped. Would not recommend. The bedroom could carpets could be cleaner also the skirting boards.

The position was excellent for the New Forest, the down side was no parking facilities. the staff were very friendly and the breakfast excellent. Required some update on the decor, but overall a nice place to stay.

Position, friendlyness, cleanliness, excellent food and drink, staff very welcoming and friendly. I was on my own and felt very safe and comfortable in the pub and room. Well positioned in a beautiful village in the middle of the New Forest with easy access to many other attractions and villages.

Central location in Lyndhurst. Excellent breakfast.

Noisy (thin walls, single glazing and can hear pub downstairs & heavy Lyndhurst traffic all night). Breeze through window made it quite chilly in room.

Parking not available, we had to park the car overnight in the nearby public car park which didn't feel very safe.

Nice breakfast, fairly basic room but quite comfortable.

The shower was a bit odd made the bathroom floor very wet.

The bedroom was lovely and the bed was firm so I slept like a log. It is nice to have a separate door to go outside, to avoid going through the crowded pub! Breakfast was good, lovely fresh mushrooms rather than from a tine!!!!

No car park, so perhaps they should have a special reduction voucher, with the Council's agreement? It would be nice to have two comfortable armchairs so we can relax in front of TV in our bedroom.

. the freshly cooked breakfast was a real bonus the rooms were newly decorated and furnished and very comfortable

The lack of a car park was inconvenient but the staff let me park right outside the pub which made up for it

We enjoyed our stay and were made very welcome, the food was excellant and staff very friendly...

The room was over the main bar and was very noisy with doors opening and closing and lots of chatter.This could possibly be solved by having a heavy window curtain and the blinds let light in even when closed and did not stop noise,This did not bother us too much but might others.

Too expensive for what you got
