Room was OK but small and basic not what I expected for the money paid.
Breakfast option, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the bedroom was very clean.
the stairs up to the bedrooms
Good location for where I needed to be. Very nice owners, felt very welcome. Clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
Staff lovely and breakfast was great
Mattress was dreadful and constant noise from banging doors and rattling airvents all night meant that we hardly slept. There was a kettle in the room but no cups and no powerpoint within reach of it. Sorry wouldn't stay there again.
Ideal location if you want to visit Bristol city centre..easy to walk into Bristol, or bus stop just along the road! Good selection of food and drinks for breakfast..Would stay again!
We stayed in a room at the front of the property, so some noise from the road outside...car park is fairly small and cramped, so we parked in a side road around the corner..
Room a bit small
Very helpful staff. They stored four bikes for us in the laundry overnight.
Except continental Breakfast & Beds are awful and WiFi never works. There is no lift if we have big luggage, should struggle to take it upstairs.
Breakfast and Breakfast room very nice
Bedding needs upgrade, very pore and old.. Pillows need up-grading no wifi in the room on the night of our stay
Liked the room which was extra large with an extra double bed and a single bed all positioned conveniently around room. The morning staff were also very helpful and made me feel welcome before i checked out.
Not much I didn't like although i had problems with getting hot water through the shower head, which was soon put right after 15 mins by night porter.
helpful staff, comfortable bed, very good continental breakfast and for our purposes great location
Car park rather tight but at least their is one
Breakfast wasn't bad. They had a good selection of cereals, croissants, pain o chocolat and a continental style buffet with cheese and meat and bread and preserves.
When we arrived the car park wasn't full but all the vehicles were parked very badly and we couldn't fit our car in. The night porter wasn't particularly sympathetic or helpful. We ended up parking on the street about 5 mins walk away. Also - the wifi was down and apart from a sign on the wall which explained they were having problems with it there was no mention of it or offer of compensation.
Great place, great staff and a great breakfast
Could not get on the wifi, code had changed to the one given, and the new one would not work. But this was a very minor issuse.
The staff was friendly, especially Ana at the reception. The room was very clean and the car park at the back was a plus point. If you are looking into spend a few nights in bristol and you don't want to waste money this is the right place.
the bed was comfortable, the room spacious for my needs, the breakfast adequate.
the shower riser was broken resulting in a useless shower experience.
The welcome was flexible for late arrival and friendly. The facilities in the bedroom were good and clean.
The pillows were too hard to sleep on and the floor boards in the bedroom creaked loudly. The shower was inconsistant in heat and turned cold during use. I would have liked a cooked English breakfast as I'm in UK.
convenient bus stop to downtown and private parking. good deal for the money.
wifi not reaching 2nd floor.
Quiet, very clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, good value.
no information in room about fire exits/procedures, didn't see many staff around, no phone in room.
Friendliness of staff. Plenty of information about surrounding area. Would definately like to visit Bristol again.
No shelter to have a smoke as my wife felt vulnerable on her own outside.
- Cozy room , easy road parking, nice staff
-Got an email the day before stating that we would be staying in another partner hotel Ashville. The hotel was good and we had a nice stay but i guess it could have caused inconvenience and confusion for some.
comfortable and clean
Location Price Clean Staff Breakfast
I asked for a quiet room away from the street and that's what we got. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Staff friendly and helpfully, especially on buses to town. Decent size breakfast and tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
No water at all for a shower on our last morning. I managed to run a small amount in the bath and had to wash my body and long hair in about 2 litres. Horrible. The parking was very tight and with a larger car, getting out was difficult. I was not able to connect to the Internet at all. The map provided at reception was wrong and we walked around for ages trying to find the recommended places to eat. The place is further from town than suggested. I think the person in the dining area was there to ensure we didn't steal the cutlery and crockery as they didn't help with anything else like how to make coffee or where anything was. Breakfast finishing at 9 is a little early in the week. The chair on the first floor is a tripping hazard and blocks the passage and should be moved.
Choice at the buffet breakfast better than anticipated. Staff very obliging, friendly and helpful when we brought our grandson (not staying with us) for breakfast.
