The complete visit was enjoyable,only wish we could have stayed longer.

Warm bedroom. Very comfortable bed. Excellent food, especially breakfast.Really hot water. All staff very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recomend the hotel to friends. Many thanks.

Having to wait until 5.00 pm before being able to arrive was rather inconvenient.

Cosy atmosphere - like a nice pub, very quiet.

Friendly welcome. Cheerful staff. Delicious cider. Comfortable room. Nice old building. Convenient for visiting Severn Valley countryside.

Not a great choice of food, and hardly any vegetables.

Room was newly decorated, very clean and well equipped. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel / pub is very attractive and well situated near the centre of Berkeley.

We stayed at the Malt House because we wanted to visit Berkeley castle and the Jenner museum. We were not disappointed by either. I would certainly recommend the malt house for its comfortable room and cleanliness.

The only criticism if any, would be the shower did not have enough pressure

Good location. This is more of an Inn with rooms rather than a smart b & B. Good pub-grub at reasonable prices.

Single room was a bit unattractive. But clean and comfortable. A little pricey compared with other stop-overs which offered similar or superior facilities.

Easy to find, super friendly staff and nice little rooms.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and our room was spacious and comfortable - perhaps just a little too warm at night, however, even with the heating turned down. We could hear the skittle alley below although this stopped by 11 p.m. The breakfast was good, and the food in the restaurant was tasty and generous, with four vegetarian options to choose from.

Pleasant and informal. The manageress was extremely kind in helping with taxi arrangements to the extent that she used her own car.

Well sized , clean comfortable rooms, traditional bar area, friendly helpful staff

The resturant is closed Sunday evening, althought the owner did offer to cook us something, there is nowhere within walking distance to have more than a snack. Takeaway was the result with plates and cutlery supplied by helpful staff. Not really a critcism of the hotel as the town is very quiet on Sunday.

Bed was comfy, room was clean, TV was enormous!

Extra bed in room, would have preferred sofa!

The staff were very helpful and even went out of their way to track down a taxi company for me at short notice, when I experienced difficulties as most companies were busy due to a festival over the weekend.
