Within Bangor city, easy parking and excellent facilities
I'm really sorry, as I know it is part of the charm of your building, but the maze of corridors and stairs. I appreciate how the Management Centre has installed ramps and lifts though. Your staff assistance means this isn't really a 'not like' - it's a beautiful building with a beautiful view!
We liked the fact it was so near the university and within walking distance of the town.
Only one hiccup and that was if We wanted a cup of tea at night there was not enough milk provided and we could not find anyone to get us any.
Everything you needed
really confusing building. poorly signed. no directions to exits. had to find another guest to find way out. member of catering staff took me from my room to reception.
Why is the TV power feed switch behind the curtain. You need a sign to make people aware of this?
Bedroom. cleanliness, breakfast
Internet didnt work in the bedroom. Television was an LSD screen which could only be viewed whilst laying on the bed. Shower was very low power. Restaurant was over priced, hence empty.
It was close to the centre of Bangor and the staff were very helpful
The breakfast was nothing to write home about It was tasteless
Convenient for University. Comfortable spacious room with lovely view. Lovely bathroom.
Peace and quiet
Location, friendliness and helpfulness of staff
spacious room, large shower, quiet, good location if visiting the university.
breakfast time is too early if not working stopping at 9am and no flexibility. There is no atmosphere - a bit cold, not personal in any way - a centre rather than a hotel. hairdryer blew cold air, Parking closeby which is fine overnight but full during the day if you wish to return to the centre during office hours as clearly office staff use the parking. A very high hilly walk between the centre and downtown bangor
1. University wifi is just perfect 2. Clean, tidy, professional 3. Breakfast excellent 4. Right next to/in the university campus
1. Room shape a little odd which meant tv neither near desk nor bed, stuck between. However forget TV in bangor they get terrible reception, so you MAY get BBC ok if lucky. Bring a PC and make use of the excellent wifi if you want to watch any TV. 2. Not a homely comfy feel, but it is what you would expect from a Management Centre however, clean tidy, professional. 3. Map on website is worse than useless, key roads on it are not labelled (e.g. Love Lane that your sat nav will probably bring you up is not on it !), google maps + sat nav is fine though.
Location, staff, room
Constantly logging in to Wi-Fi, Food was okay but not great, no ambiance at all, reminded me of school (not in a good way)
Location is very convient to visit our daughter who is studying at Bangor. The food was very good and the chef prepared special meals for my daughter who is vegan. She was very impressed.
reception seemed a bit slow and unsure scaffolding outside room spoilt view out bit pricey as it places itself in the costs of an hotel
Very big building, hard to find your way inside
A very comfortable room and workspace perfect for regular work trips to north Wales
If you are having work done you should say. The noise of the wind on the scaffolding meant it wasn't a good night's sleep
Very Clean and the Staff was friendly.
The food in the restaurant was worse than usual hotel food. I could barely eat mine.
I loved the room when walking in, absolutely spotless and spacious, I loved the bathroom and that the room had a bath as well as the complementary toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities! The whole experience was amazing!
I was at the bottom floor and the only thing I think would have improved my experience was a better phone reception in the room, other than that it was amazing!!
Helpful and friendly staff at the reception and restaurant. The room was clean, warm and comforable. The breakfast was excellent with choice for all tastes. I will stay there again and recommend it to my friends.
Location, staff, comfy room.
Terrible wifi given the cost of the accommodation and the fact that it's a supposedly a business centre. You have to log in every time the laptop wakes from sleep, the log in process often requires several attempts, and he you are connected it's very slow. My 3G (not 4G) tethering was much faster.
The staff and facilities were excellent. Good restuaurant and service.
