The shower was rather poor but it did the job , maybe a power shower .
The location , the hotel , the room , the breakfast and staff
Wi-Fi was unusable in room & weak in Manor Bar. Needs sorting! Also had faulty window in room which did not get fixed after request. Open all night!!
The attention & cheerfulness of staff. The setting & airyness of public areas. Would highly recommend The Manor.
clean & tidy
The staff were very friendly and would do anything for you. The room was clean and had a fantastic view of the countryside.
Full English breakfast was £8.95 but got cheap frozen sausages! Awful scrambled eggs Also no headboard on bed showing filthy greasy head marks on wall..also duvet was very lumpy, the filling was all bunched up. Poor wifi
Nice decor, lovely big room Friendly staff Nice location and decking area.
I did feel a full English breakfast ought to have been included for the price. It was a little more expensive than I felt was reasonable but still very good.
The bar is particularly impressive, so cosy and amazingly well decorated. The building itself was lovely, lots of corridors and the rooms are beautiful. I didn't realise it was so pretty!
Stains on furniture and shower musty smell and corrosion.
Very nice restaurant and excellent staff. Value for money.
Location, to far out of Christchurch.
Comfort of bed
Very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was warm & comfy. The hotel decor very nice
With the exception of one young girl, the staff were not as friendly as had been on my last visit. There was a pile of laundry bags blocking the landing and causing a fire hazard for almost 24 hours when we first got there. The continental breakfast lacked variety.
The room was lovely, beds comfortable, evening meals were fabulous and the location is ideal.
Didn't start serving breakfast until 7:30am and I had to leave for work before this
Lovely place and room
Nice room with lovely bathroom and dressing area. Everything was clean and comfortable.
Staff could be more attentive, missing spindles on stairs, lots of mould in the bathroom, no baths, freezing overnight, poor lighting in room, impractical furniture in room, breakfast offering was poor.
Restaurant and bar were very good. Manager was very good and keen to please.
Winter rate was excellent value, rooms were clean and a generous size, friendly and accommodating staff
The bed was a bit overly soft.
The bar area was fantastic and the cooked breakfasts were very good. The staff went out of their way to help!
Loft room had me ducking all the time! A desk/table would have been nice. Further out of town than expected.
Good restaurant, ample parking, accommodating staff.
Bed was 2 singles shoved together. It rained during the night, awoke to find a wet wall in our 'Ivory Tower' top floor room.
ample onsite parking, good bar and restaurant.
Their idea of breakfast included is a yoghurt, some fruit and dodgy looking pastries, if you want a proper breakfast be prepared to pay £9 per person per day! adding substantially to the cost of the stay. Staff were indifferent towards and the bathroom wasn't that clean for a 5*. It certainly isn't that infact I noticed someone had pulled one of the stars off on the sign on the wall. I think another one off and you have it about right.
Our only complaint was we were above the Kitchen and there was either a boiler or a washer humming away for some of the evening
Everything, The staff were friendly and wellcoming, the bed was soooooo comfy. The room was really delightful and cosy. The food was amazing and a good choice of wines.
It was in the middle of no where which didnt bother us as we were visiting family, but its not really a weekend away type place.
Some of the interior paintwork, door frames and door steps need a good clean. Sweet room names but the name plate cheap and falling off. Second breakfast staff girl constantly texting while watching (next to, was she supposed to be helping?) the pregnant young woman lay tables. She needs sacking!!!
Style, Manager very friendly and helpful, waitress (due to drop soon!) very good worker and attention to detail. Nice and warm. Countryside views. Quiet. Lovely linens and towels. Restaurant style and ambience great. Didnt eat there though sadly.
The staff were very friendly and nothing seemed like too much trouble definitely go back
We liked all aspects but could imagine that the lacking of a cooked breakfast may not suit everyone.
Restaurant, well designed with excellent food. Staff friendly and helpful. Over all a nice experience.
Comfortable bed with nice linen. Food was good and good value.
I felt the staff were very welcoming, especially the Hotel manager Nick who very kindly looked after us while enjoying a social drink in the bar. Also, shower was perfect, will highly recommend to friends and family
