The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent room, superb view, large clean bathroom. Wonderful building.

no lift, which make carrying luggage awkward and poor water pressure in rainfall shower.

The room was excellent, as was the food, and we felt well looked after during our short stay.

Former large country house with character, well updated with new rooms and gym suite. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Good location on outskirts of Godalming. Would definitely recommend.

Some furnishings slightly tired / faded, but only a minor issue.

We were impressed with their lack of unnecessary little shower and bath gels- their policy of recycling towels where necessary. Our room was clean,comfortable and pleasant. Our breakfast was delicious served by a friendly member of staff.

Helpful staff, excellent food, be back soon. Easy parking, great location, free fast Wi-fi.

Excellent staff, customer service second to none. Breakfast was excellent. No complaints - and the walk into town was worth it just to avoid the Kings Head. Congrats to the staff on a great hotel atmosphere and the service provided.

Staff very friendly good choice of food

A comfortable stay with good breakfast cannot comment on dinner as we ate out in the evenings. In general the hotel was quiet with little inter room noise.

Good location, room size adequate, quiet and peaceful surroundings clean modern design of rooms, inside a beautiful period building Just loved the wisteria framed arch leading on to the lawn from the room. The environmentally friendly policy followed by the hotel

The lingering smell in the dining room!!I Dont know if there was a lift to go to the floors other than the ground floor. this might be helpful.

The location was great for our purpose which was to visit family in Godalming, staff were friendly

The bed in room 16 dipped in the middle and I only ended up having a couple of hours sleep. Also the breakfast was supposed to be buffet style but we were served cold bacon, and mushrooms.

We stayed one night and were visiting a friend in hospital and did not use any of the hotel facilities. We liked, the staff, the room, and the sardines! Even though the restaurant was closed for dinner we had good service and good food in the Bistro.

Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Quality accommodation. Good food. Efficient service. Other guests were friendly and amenable. Very comfortable desk chair and really good room lighting were appreciated. Good cleanliness and tidiness were conducive to the general ambiance and demeanor. The Garden and Patio areas were delightful.

Excellent location with peaceful and tranquil setting over looking wonderful countryside.

Room wasn't checked before our arrival.We found discarded paper and wrappings in our wardrobe left by previous qccupants,also there was a face cream left by the previous occupants.Definately a Conference Hotel and although staff were very good the lack of availability of the restaurant at weekends for such a good quality Hotel was disappointing to the least especially when their high profile menus are not available.

The staff and the cleanliness of the rooms were very good and plenty off parking space

The TV was not working (Digital changeover) and the bistro menu was dissapointing, what was supposed to pass as herb mash really needed a spoon not a fork (Microwave cookery ?) The main issue were the wedding party guests who thought racing up and down the corridors banging on doors late at night was fun.Somethings that if sorted would greatly improve the hotel.
