the location was good. The staff couldnt do enough for you. the manor was clean throughout.Good food A group (16 people) had booked a meal in the restaurant. Upon their arrival they sat in the lounge area and took over. When as paying guests staying there we wanted to relax after our meal.We were told there was no room. This was not exceptable, and we had to remain in the dining room until the group were ready to go to their dinner table. The group should have been shown to their table allowing the facilities to be used by guests who were staying there. |

We very much enjoyed the accomodating staff. It was pleasant to be able to walk about the property with our children and they had the most fun petting the horses! It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay and we recommend anyone wishing to "get away" visit this establishment. |

My husband and I stayed here for a night as a surprise for his 40th birthday. We stayed in the Cardigan room which was absolutely perfect if it is a romantic night you have planned!! The room was lovely and the bath in the bedroom was just perfect! I had ordered a nice bottle of wine which was placed in an ice bucket ready, my husband was over the moon! We had dinner in the evening, the food was lovely, and I had also bought a new wedding ring for my husband ( as our youngest son had lost my husbands ring the year before!) which the waitress kindly surprised my husband by placing it on the table with our first drinks! The staff could'nt have done enough for us, and made my surprise for my husband just perfect! We will be booking again soon |

I have to say that our stay at The Manor was a fabulous addition to a business/pleasure trip to London. The setting of the farm and manor house are magnificent. We liked it so much we ended up canceling our sightseeing plans for the morning just to spend time onsite. The room has a lot of character and the staff really took their time to get to know us and ensure we had a relaxing and pleasant experience. The Manor was a welcome relief to the the high priced, big city chain hotels. The personal attention, which included a guided tour of the gardens and the history of the farm by the owner made a rather nice impression on my 11 year old son who was traveling out of the USA for the first time. Highly recommend! Everything was perfect. |

This 13th-century coaching inn has stunning views across the River Avon to the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral. It has recently undergone a £1million refurbishment. |
This elegant, Georgian, city-centre hotel with pillared portico has been the citys finest hotel for over 400 years. The majestic cathedral is within walking distance. |
