Breakfast was great, good selection! Everyone that worked there was really nice and polite!
Room was a bit warm, radiators on to high on a arrival! Made room very hot throught the night!
The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and filling, lovely fresh eggs. Location was extremely good for Alton Towers. Staff were friendly and polite.
There was a bad smell in the en-suite, the drainage obviously needs looking at. The temperature in the shower was difficult to regulate and the water pressure wasn't great.
Lovely people with lovely facilities. Thank you for a nice stay
Everything .. Couldn't fault anything
Very welcoming staff. Lovely cooked breakfast in morning. Overall very pleasant stay and lovely gardens. Would not hesitate to go back.
Pillows slightly too firm.
Friendly, welcoming, charming, and beautiful Guest House will always be a place to stay, whether you are going to Alton Towers or anywhere close to Stoke on Trent. The room had a spectacular view into the garden, which can only be described as magical. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of the calming water feature and look out on to the little bridge over the pond and watch the fish splash about, catching their morning breakfast. During the colder August nights, we really liked that it was heated just enough to make it a very cosy and heart-warming bedroom. The garden offered many photo opportunities, not only by the stunning water feature/pond, but also many flower arrangements, the sweet looking bench. Also a great place for children to run around and enjoy the fresh air. The food was simply the best I have ever had! From mouth-watering mussels and warm soft bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil right down to early home-made morning breakfast, making this guest house the best place for Eggs Benedict !!! The great menu and calm and relaxing restaurant atmosphere justifies every penny that you will spend on your dinner/breakfast. We will certainly be recommending this to our friends and family, as well as coming back to this Manor Guest House if we are around in that area.
Owners and staff lovely, food very nice. Friendly atmosphere.
The tags on keys clang about as you enter or lock the doors, we tried not to disturb other rooms as we used keys.
The staff especially Nick & Josh were very helpful & accommodating. Food was superb! A beautiful and well cared for garden and the place was generally clean..
Nothing major but we did notice that the bin in the toilet has not been emptied when we first checked in.. :)
Staff were great as was the quality of the food
Very convenient for Alton Towers. Clean and comfy and lovely breakfast. Would stay again!
Close to alton towers and nice helpful staff and good breakfast. Good parking at back.
Shower had no pressure, badly papered walls peeling paint on walls. Creaky floor boards in hallway.
