The lady on reception when we arrived was absolutely fantastic, unfortunately didnt catch her name! the rooms were alot bigger than anticipated! Rooms were immaculate also! (i used to be a house keeper in a hotel so slightly fussy :) but it was immaculate) tea tray was nicely stocked and biscuits were lush! breakfast was fantastic, great selection! Young gentleman on restaurant door at breakfast lovely! lots of choice! all staff very friendly, nothing is too much effort! Had dinner in Houstens bar and grill! prices reasonable and the steak was too die for! Hotel itself is gorgeous, very grand looking! Loved the winding staircase next to reception, considering it as a potential wedding venue!! thanks for a lovely stay! Only thing i didnt realise was that we could have used the windmill village leisure facilities. Shame Manor doesnt have leisure facilitlies.

I was very happy with our stay, the room was nice and a decent size, the hotel was very clean and had a luxury feel. Breakfast was fantastic lots of choice, big plates and good quality. We ate in the attached bar/restaurant and I was expecting it to be pricey but it was not. Again big portions and frendly staff. We were visiting the nec which made this the perfect place to stay with free parking and only 5 minutes away. All this for little more than the price of a Travel lodge without breakfeast. I will be staying here again.

very friendly helpful staff had an extra teenager staying on second night was only charged £10 for an extra bed and it was quick and easy to sort out. Staff made huge effort to get us takeaway menus from local places printed out menus and recommended place to go which proved a real gem. Really went the extra mile I was very impressed!

We were going to a concert at the NEC but found the nearby hotels terribly expensive. We chose The Manor Hotel because of it's price and location in relation to the NEC. As staff told me when booking we genuinally were a ten minute bus ride away from the NEC so fabulous location. The hotel was lovely.....friendly, professional, helpful staff. Our rooms and public areas were very clean. Food was very good and great value. We were incredibly pleased with our choice and it definately enhanced our weekend break and concert. Thank you very much for a great weekend.

Good price and convenient location for the LG Arena. I didn't think the staff were particularly friendly or professional in their duties.

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff The hotel was fully booked and we were unable to get a reservation in the restaurant, the bar restaurant was also fully booked until 8:30, which was late for a family to eat. On the morning we had to wait for a table at breakfast but once seated it was very good. We had to share a table set for 15, would have to ask why there was a table for 15 as no room could sleep that amount of people !

The location and the hotel itself is very nice and well kept. The surrounding area is nice. On arrival we were advised that the restaurant was full for that night and all they had available was a table in the bar which served bar meals but that was fully booked until 8.30pm. We had asked for a double room and got a twin room and could not get an exchange as the hotel was full. We had to ask for bedding on one of the beds to be changed as there were makeup stains on it, the manager did apologise and changed the bedding himself. They never had enough tables at breakfast and we had to wait, then they started to give the tables to other guests that had came after us for breakfast as they could not remember who was first.

The setting, village was nice and the outside appearance of the hotel and gardens was lovely. Cleanliness was dire, food was appalling and service very erratic.

Location as I was golfing at The Forest of Arden and had an early tee time. Having spoken to my playing partners (who did stay at The Forest of Arden) we certainly made the right choice.

The location was excellent, and the rooms very quiet at night. The room was dirty, and they had to move us to another room. The service and food in Houston's bar/grill was very poor, but the food in the restaurant was better. The breakfast was poor, and tea was served out of a thermos flask ! The bathrooms need updating.

A good option for me because of location. Good standards and generally decent rooms. I booked 3 rooms and unfortunately mine had a door adjoining the room next door. Not a problem until they talked as I could hear everything. Just ensure your room isn't an adjoining room. Great breakfast, nice large breakfast room. Old style deco but ok. Bathrooms tired but fully functioning n fine. Small bar area- not very cosy. Needs more sofas to plonk down in and relax. Good value- you get what you pay for. The adjoining door of my room!! Chairs in the bar area!!

As I was coming down with two dogs to go to Crufts, I appreciated the tolerance to dogs (and no surcharge!). My daughter and I also enjoyed our dinner in the Regency restaurant. The hotel was extremely busy the night we stayed but I didn't personally feel affected by the number of other guests and visitors - every thing ran very smoothly for us.

Great location for the nec. Not the hotels fault, but the booking.com site gave the hotel's address as Main Road, cv7. There are two Main Roads in cv7 about 8 miles apart and without knowing which one the TomTom took me to the wrong one!
