Best Western Plus Manor Hotel NEC Birmingham    

Excellent restaurant, good rooms, seemed to be very good for weddings. Very good breakfast and ideal for working at NEC approx. 7 minutes away

We found the Hotel so comfortable, the staff were very helpful.

Not major but I had to get a member of staff (twice), for more coffee.

very easy to find, lovely surroundings, very helpful and friendly staff, nice local pub if you fancy a walk out, amazingly comfortable beds large spacious well decorated room very good facilites, great breakfast.

Good value for working at the NEC. Great pub nearby for excellent food but food in the hotel was fine too.

Uncomfortable bed, too soft. Very poor service at breakfast, on all three days.

Breakfast waiting staff were a little slow to provide tea/coffee and very quick to allow a neighbouring table to remove the chairs from our table.

You failed to advise me that I would not be in the patio room which I had booked.

Warm, comfortable, proximity to LGArena . Staff were very helpful & addressed all issues immediately.

Lack of attention to detail.( not enough towels for shower, not enough tea bags or milk in room for beverages) Bar meals too expensive for standard delivered. Presentation of food was sloppy( plates had film from dishwasher , dish of tartare sauce had peas scattered in it. Pot of coleslaw had BBQ sauce from pulled pork dribbled across it, & pork was tepid) we did not pay for pork as we commented on the temperature of it & waitress very kindly said we did not need to pay for it & removed it from our bill. She was very concerned about the service given which was appreciated.

the disabled rooms need to have wet floors in deep baths not suitable for disabled.

I thought i had prepaid when i booked the accommodation only to find that i had tyo pay on departure

I am not a fan of their English breakfast, no real selection of different breads and scrambled eggs out of a microwave (considering that this is a 2 rosette restaurant in the hotel).

The room was clean.

While staying at best manor,the hotel had two weddings booked,so the bar was extremely busy,and you also felt that your sat in someone's wedding party.because of the wedding breakfast was busy we had to wait for a table and then there was hardly any food left.on check out I was imformed that I hadn't payed for my room? Yet all my correct card details were given and there was money in my account! This was a massive inconvenience as I thought I booked the room a month ago and it had been payed for.Would it not of been better for someone from the hotel to contact me to say they were unable to take payment?

Breakfast was cold Bed very uncomfortable

The location was ideal for NEC while being in a lovely rural setting. The room was spacious bright, clean and comfortable.

Their was a ventilation fan running ALL NIGHT which meant I did not have any sleep, negating the value of the comfortable bed. The bathroom door did not close properly and the curtains were coming off the hooks meaning they did not fully close allowing early sunlight into the room. Details mean so much... The restaurant and bar areas lacked atmosphere and were overpriced, so we had dinner in the nearby pub.
