Warm welcome from staff. Excellent value for money. Nicely cooked breakfast, plenty of choice. Cosy touches, like a selection of DVD's and paperbacks in the room. Selection of board games etc.. in the sitting room. Nothing!

Genial host who made us feel welcome. Very comfortable nights sleep and a smashing breakfast in the morning set us up nicely for our onward journey. Nothing really. We got what we wanted at a fair price.

Although my colleague and I were only there briefly. We were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was of excellent quality and cleanliness. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in.Maple Lodge is a very charming period property with it's own guest parking, and would stay again without hesitation.Excellent choice for breakfast, and nice to actually be given a choice for full English not just heap some of everything on and be expected to lump it!

What a fantastic nights stay at the Maple lodge. I arrived and was greeted by Philip the owner who is such a friendly chap. Nothing was to much trouble for him, he should me up to my room and what a joy to see how clean and inviting it was ( trust me I stay in a lot of hotels and I would give the maple lodge 5 aa Stars) It is close enough to the town centre and other surrounding area's. Breakfast oh my what a excellent meal to start your day with and outstanding value for money. Will be using again

It's close proximity to the Accrington Stanley Football Club grounds which is where we were going. Within easy walking distance, but not in the direct path of football traffic. We felt that the cost of the room per night £62 was excessive when compared to the supplied facilities and the fact that we had to vacate the room at 10.00 on Sunday morning

The owner was very welcoming, helpful and reliable. The room was very clean and tidy and all facilities catered for my needs. I had to book a vegetarian breakfast in advance and I was more than happy with my breakfast and the service. It was a very pleasant stay and I would definately return if I needed to stay in the area again.I only stayed for one night and so I couldn't comment if I would recommend Accrington as a place to have a holiday.

Easy to access, very comfortable room and bed.Very clean and quiet.I have a difficult diet and this was catered for easily without seeming to pose a problem. All the food was delicious and presented well. We were made to feel at home and cared for.Nothing seemed too much trouble. If I was in the area again I would not hesitate to stay again and would highly recommend to other travellers.
