Gut zu finden; großer Parkplatz; ruhige Lage; wir durften den Hotel-eigenen PC benutzen, um uns für den Rückflug online einzuchecken und die Bordkarten auszudrucken; die Fish&Chips im Hotel-Restaurant waren sehr gut Die Handtücher waren dreckig; die Heizung ließ sich die ganze Nacht nicht abstellen und lief mit voller Kraft; beim Frühstück am Sonntag mussten wir lange warten; das uns zunächst angebotene Zimmer war indiskutabel (modrige/stickige Luft, Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen, an der Decke Wasserflecken und bröckeliger Putz), erst nach einiger Diskussion bekamen wir dann ein sehr ordentliches Zimmer |

Really nice, unobtrusive staff, generally quiet area, lovely countryside. Great location, very good value for money, good taxi service, ample parking, helpful siteseeing literature, ideal breakfast times on the weekend, (which was of a very good standard & plentyful), really nice modern & clean bathrooms, great shower, room was slightly smaller than it appeared on the site, however very clean &... A little noisy, (quite obvious when you see it as a pub-based inn rather than a hotel! which we should have realised). However this didnt continue late into the night. Where our room was situated unfortunately you could hear every single movement, & exit/entrance of all the guest's. However this cant be helped with older buildings! |

When we arrived at the Mary Arden we went to check in and they hadnt received the confirmation, so they didnt know we were coming. I gave them my my reservation number and they were quite happy to accomodate us luckily they had rooms left at the time. Staff were very efficient and friendly, i would definately recommend this place to anyone. |

The room was very cosy and warm, bed was comfortable to sleep on.The staff were very friendly and the cooked breakfasts were very good. The lighting could have been better placed in the bedroom, the bathroom tiles were tired and the grout very dirty, there was a top missing off the sinks hot tap, the shower was difficult to operate as it kept getting too hot |

nice olde world feel good beer, good food, very nice hotel, we asked for breakfast to be at 8.00 it was 8.30 when we got it. as result we were late for an appointment by 40 mins due to the delay and food not served after 8.30 pm |

It was a very comfortable hotel, with a very welcoming pub and bar. The staff were very helpful and polite. The food was good, although some of the portions were a little too large for us. |

Comfort, excellent food and good staff Early finish to the restaurant and No Earl Grey or fruit teas!! A very minor quibble - we all thought it was a smashing pub which could make much more advertising of its gastropub capabilities. |
