Very friendly people running the pub. Made us very welcome and were very helpful. Excellent breakfasts. Good pub meal at night. Cosy, clean, comfortable. A little bit cramped for room - only to be expected in a historic pub like this.

rooms were cosy and tidy, staff hospitable and helpful, good value for money. great place to settle in for the evening. breakfast was very good standard was busy to park when we arrived in evening, no specific parking. not a massive issue at all. wifi didn't seem to work downstairs.

This is a great place to stay. The staff went out of their way to make our stopover enjoyable. The mason arms has a great atmosphere, breakfast very good. Thanks to Mark and Jules for doing going the extra mile for us. We would certainly stay again. Enjoyed the time in the bar in the evening and meeting some of the locals. Thanks all.

very friendly and helpful staff,excellent well-cooked and plentiful food especially amazing FULL english breakfast.Breakfast and check-in/out-times also sensible so never felt rushed and very relaxed bar atmosphere. Nothing to dislike.

Liked pretty much everything, the breakfast was superb, rooms cosy and the pub downstairs is very warming and lovely. The pub didn't serve dinner when we were in and actually finding a place for dining was quite tricky...

We were warmly welcomed to the Masons Arms by Jules and Mark and made to feel at home immediately. It is an old Inn and we didn't expect a huge room but our double was lovely. The room and the bed linen were spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The en suite which had a shower was on the small side but again was spotless. Jules had thought of everything including an emergency sewing kit should you need it. We chose to eat at the Masons Arms on the two nights we were booked in as the food was fantastic. The full english breakfast was beautifully cooked and huge. We would not hesitate to return and will probably make our stay longer.
