Having our own patio space to sit out in was excellent, and is not a common feature of most accommodation of this type. There was good reasonably priced food (which led to us deciding to spend all three evenings eating in) and a comfortable room. We would certainly anticipate staying here again.

We had a warm welcome and all staff were friendly. The food was the high point of our stay, locally sourced produce was beautifully cooked and presented. There was no comfortable sitting room with a cosy fire as we hoped, having chosen a country pub for a winter break. There was a small annex to the dining room, which, although apparently busy at weekends, wasn't used during our stay. Ithink this could have been utilised by moving tables and chairs to the back and providing a couple of sofas.

What a little gem, on a cold wintery night this warm cosy inn was a real treasure, lovely helpful staff, cosy bedroom and fab resturant... Puddings to die for: apple pie and custard delicious. Really special staff and as a woman travelling alone I was made to feel comfortable and safe. The room if a little small was like being at home with lovely hot steamy bath and copious coffee and milk available. The breakfast was a proper farmhouse breakfast. A happy place to be.......

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were away from the pub, therefore peaceful and quiet. The position was very convenient to various interesting places to visit.

The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. There was a friendly atmosphere to the hotel. The only down side was the room in which we stayed in looked very tired and dated. Although the room my sister had was very nice, it looked fresh and recently refurbished.
