Excellent choice for a couple with enough facilities. The kitchen and living room are big. The washing machine is very useful and has a dryer built in. Everything is good.

    * Great apartment - Good kitchen facilities, fairly spacious living area with views over the grounds, nice bedroom - also with views over the grounds , comfortable bed with lovely cotton sheets, handy Wi Fi. * Great Location - located in a very peaceful spot, only 5 mins walk to Midsummers Common & Jesus Green - great picnic spots by the River! Only 15-20 mins pretty Riverside walk into the Centre of Cambridge. *Ample free parking directly outside. * Good value at £125 per night. All in all a great base to stay for a couple of days sight seeing around Cambridge - far better than a hotel room!

There was nothing we didn't like

The grounds in which the flat is situate are very pleasant and parking was convenient and easy. The flat was well equipped save for the items referred to as negatives

There was only a part roll of toilet paper left for a 2 night booking; there were only 2 teabags provided whereas it would cost pennies to leave a small jar and the mugs from which you were expected to drink were not nice at all- stained and rather cheap an d should be replaced

Very thoughful iron rations! Bread, butter, milk and orange juice.

OK for me but worth noting there isn't a lift.

location, brightness and light, easy free parking, good size living room, kitchen appliances.

Excellent value for money compared to a B&B or hotel if a self-catering option is preferred. Fast wifi internet, well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Comfortably heated. Very close to where we needed to be in the NE of Cambridge, 15 walk to the centre of town.

Owner/caretaker was confused about our arrival dates and was rather abrupt when we called in ahead of arrival, telling us we were mistaken and the place was already rented out. No helpfulness at all. After a long journey late at night with the entire half-month rental already charged to my credit card, this came as a bit of a rude shock. To be fair, when they realized their mistake (it took a second phone call from us), they were genuinely apologetic and scrambled to fix and ready the apartment for our arrival. No further incidents after that. Apartment was clean and comfortable by local standards but the apartment is a little old and if you are used to accommodation quality in a modern city, this only merits a 'Good'.

Relaxing and comfortable apartment and definitely home from home. Parking was free with lots of availability.

Can't think of anything we didn't like

Nicely located and proper apartment. Quit place. Walking distance from the city center.

Bathroom is a bit small but functional. Shower in the bath is less practical but works fine. We would recommend to replace the bath with just a shower.
