Score from 1328 reviews Very good
Had to pay cash No parking although I had asked to reserve parking No entertainment
Location was Gud.just behind all the shops and winter gardens.gud breakfast.and bar looked Gud even though we didn't use it.
Bedroom next to bar.but wasn't to loud.floorboards creaked
Location was ok
Very thin mattress, noisey floor boards, quite expensive for the actual quality of rooms.
The hotel is in a great location, near the tower, but away from the clubs. Helen, Sean, and the rest of the staff are superb, you would be hard pushed to find more helpful people.
Only one night but it ticked all the boxes
Breakfast was nice but could have been hotter!!!!
Location. Staff. Lounge. Breakfast was good. Long wait for toast though.
Bedrooms very small and was expensive for what it was.
we had a room at the front with a bay window it was very nice, but friends were in the back but their double room was small
no entertainment mid-week
Me and my partner stayed for one night, although the staff were nice the room did not look anything like the pictures provided and for the price of the room it was extremly small, reminded me of a caravan room. The bathroom door nearly hit the broken toilet seat when you opened it! I am 5 months pregnant and need a good nights sleep not only was there loud music blaring out of the window the mattress was unbelivably uncomfortable and springy, my partner and I both woke up with bad backs with the little sleep we managed to have. Overall I would not recommend this hotel!
The majority of it!
Location, facilities within the hotel, breakfast
Cleanliness in rooms
Location - handy for Winter Gardens etc
Staff attitude - demanded cash payment on arrival despite advertising that they accepted other forms of payment. Lack of sleep - from noisy seagulls ALL night long. Pokey little room, couldn't have swung the cat if pets HAD been allowed.
The staff and the price
Nothing what is on offer is better than many hotels at twice the price
Breakfast was excellent. Common room/tv room was very nice.
I stayed in room 59. Room is at the top of the hotel, it has a flat roof...which the sea gulls are on 24 hours a day. Room is tiny. En suite is so cramped that my left foot was in the shower whilst I was sat on toilet. Walls were so thin that when my extremely loud neighbours started talking at 0500 I got up and went downstairs and tried to sleep in the tv room. The bed was also very uncomfortable.
very friendly and helpful staff, very clean, and breakfast was an excellent choice of cereal, fruit or traditional english
wouldnt say didnt like, but no entertainment at night, where as it says entertainment most nights, maybe its just week nights ?
the list is endless room was the worst we have ever had fixtures and fitting falling to bits or damaged no toilet roll tea and milk missing in a room that had just been made ready . Empty coke bottle a clump of what may have been hair and dead moths under bed shaving foam still on wash basin splash back in a room that had just been "cleaned" only one light working out of two .We had spent a pleasant night at the theatre watching Mama Mia went to bed at midnight only to have our sleep disturbed at 2am by a full blown henand stag party in next room ,phoned hotel reception did very little to resolve the problem as noise persisted ended up leaving hotel at 3 am to make our way home As we chacked out other normal guests in reception also complaining of the noise.Avoid this hotel like the plague unless your a hen or stag party. Worst hotel We have stayed in by a country mile.
room very small very out of date
The receptionist was very rude right from the beginning. The room we were given was right by the bar, the walls were so thin that you might as well had your bed in the bar itself. When I spoke to reception about this she commented that they were a hotel so obviously they put on entertainment and I should have expected it to be noisy. I thought hotels were primarily for sleeping??! I was told the music would end at midnight. they would not let me cancel the room or move to another room. Disgusting!
The location was good - opposite the Winter Gardens
The room was nothing like the pictures. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. the bathroom was tiny and the water pressure in the shower was so feeble it took me ages to wash my hair. The floorboards creaked and dipped in the middle. Wi-Fi didn't work. Someone was banging on a door in the early hours. There was a pipe or drain outside which was pouring water out all night so between that and the banging on the door we didn't get much sleep.
I found the staff very helpful at all times
No table in room to do work on
first class hotel and staff couldnt ask for more, thank you very much
great hotel and staff would recommend this hotel to anyone
The staff at all levels were excellent in every respect, and the breakfasts were very good.
The double room allocated was very small in fact claustrophobic, other double rooms appeared to be satisfactory.
Closeness to our required venue.
Finding an old biscuit under my bed and ill fitting bed sheets.
Very pleasant receptionist, good Breakfast. Staff helpful.
My first room (single) was very small, especially wardrobe space. However, when my Husband joined me, that room was a good size. Car Parking was very tight at the back of hotel and someone scratched our car door quite deeply and did not own up to doing so.
Great hotel lovly manger
Eexcellent base for the town and nightlife! Rooms are adequate enough beds are ok, it's clean....what more do you want?
Had a triple room but only one towel but asked for more and no problem.
