All staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. We hadn't originally opted for breakfast but at a fiver each we changed our mind. Best decision ever. The breakfast was better than any of the much more expensive hotels I've stayed at. Rooms have free wifi and good size tv and were clean. The double bed was clean and comfortable. The room had large cracks in the wall. If you like luxury hotels this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for a base for a night or two then book it. The place is and feels dated but the staff more than make up for that.

the staff where very good, helpful an polite, ...it was an ideal spot for where we needed too be ..they serve a good breakfast, an are friendly people when ever the other rooms had showers or turn the water on it became quite noisy through the pipes...its a very dated place could do with a good makeover however it was clean

Clean, comfortable simple accommodation. Simple, tasty, good value home prepared food. Very friendly, helpful staff. Although slightly concerned about the thought of it being karaoke night - I needn't have worried. This was local community spirit at its best - very enjoyable. I'll be back! Nothing to complain about!

Nothing Room was freezing had to sleep in clothes .no heating on .no spare blankets .bathroom was grotty and had a sliding door that nearly comes off when u use it ..tv didnt work in room .evening meal was expensive and badly cooked ..breakfast was shocking ..worst I have ever been served and I stay in hotels every week night..I paid £46 to stay here and I reckon it was worth a fiver ..outside of hotel is shocking also .not all clean like photo on web site.

Th,e staff were very friendly,breakfast was good and value for money, we enjoyed the entertainment. We were visiting family who had there christening at the Mercury so it was very convenient. There was a group of young men staying at the same time who were very noisy, slamming doors and generally very loud,it wouldnt let it staying with you again

The staff were friendly and the rooms were good enough for the rate. Wifi was included, which for me was very important. Clean room, good shower, food was good too and the singer that friday night was superb!
