food was excellent

plumbing need a bit of attention
Quaint building, very friendly atmosphere.
A little remote
Bill, Mo, Adam, Pip and the entire staff at the Merrymouth were amazing. The Inn is located in the heart of the Cotswolds and reflections all the charm and history of the region. The staff are warm, friendly and charming. We miss them. I'm embarrassed to say that the food was so exceptional we did not eat breakfast or dinner anywhere else during our stay. I could not recommend the Merrymouth Inn more highly. It is not a Hilton, but a 300-year old Inn with charming quirks. It fits right in
Everything, it was a pleasant stay
The size of the meals they were huge
Friendly welcoming staff, room full of character, with a comfy bed lots of nice touches like a basket of toiletries in bathroom and a hairdryer in room. The breakfast was tasty and the coffee amazing!!! Made to feel at home from the moment we arrived until the moment we left look forward to staying here again.
Maybe could be signposted a little better at night other than that I can't fault the merrymouth inn or it's staff.
The food was great and the hosts lovely. Our room was basic but had what we needed.
The bathroom door wouldn't shut properly.
Staff absolutely lovely, food of a good standard and good value . Accommodation very good value at current market rates
No complaints for price paid
The food was very good lots of it, had a very warm welcome beer very good overall it was excellent, we would recomend The Merrymouth to anyone, and we will stay there again when we go back
Just loved our time at the Merrymouth Inn.If you are looking to stay in the Ritz then Bill's place won't be for you. However if you are looking for a place to stay where you are made so welcome (all the staff call you by name),where the past comes alive, where the food served is excellent and where you are situated in the middle of the Cotswolds then this is the place for you at a reasonable price! No problems whatsoever with the showers as reported by previous reviewers! Thanks so much for your wonderful hospitality Bill, Mo, Adam, Chris and Bert. We would not hesitate to stay with you all again!
The fact that we can't be at the Merrymouth Inn during Winter when the fires in your enormous fireplaces would be amazing!
Amazing staff, beautiful place, room full of character. Had a very relaxing stay! Would definetely go back
Everything was so very good! Thank you!
Internet service just in the restoran area.
Staff were very friendly, food was excellent and because I was out at the crack of dawn each morning, the hotel provided a convenient breakfast tray service. Really handy for the Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford - will deffo be back there... Thanks Bill :-)
Nothing to dislike to be fair.
Lovely building, grounds and garden area. Lot's of character in a rural location. Well kept building. Owner was extremely friendly, flexible and welcoming.
Our room was very dusty and we have dust allergies unfortunately. Didn't not rate the shower and bed was not comfortable. Maybe we were given a bad room, no idea as the rest of the building looked great! An Early breakfast option should be given, started from 8am.
We especially liked the contacts with Tilly, the very friendly horse! This was a good place for us to stay while attending a diamond wedding nearby. Thanks to all the friendly staff.
Staff extremely helpful, location within the Cotswolds and easy to find.
Room vey basic.
Lovely location, helpful friendly staff, comfortable room and bed. Excellent breakfast. 2 nights stay was £90 cheaper than the equivalent in Burford.
As has been said before - the shower was hard to regulate and I wasn't able to get wi-fi at all in my room. However pros outweighed the cons
Staff very friendly and helpful Good size room Good food
Power shower unreliable, as erratic pressure sometimes caused it to go cold Ill-fitting window, which was OK as the weather was good
Breakfast was wonderful and cooked to perfection - just the way a UK breakfast should be. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area and need a good B&B at a sensible price.
Food was excellent
Accommodation and fabric of building showing signs of age and wear and tear
Very friendly and helpful staff, good food, and good location, central to most of the Cotswold.
Wi-fi was definitely an issue as was the shower and hot water pressure.
comfy bed, friendly staff, great food,
little bit out of the way to get into the nearest villages and towns by foot.
Wonderful hosts and food, in restful country setting
Dogs in living and eating areas
