Location was excellent, only five minutes to shopping area. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. Our room was quite small and over priced. Walls are a bit thin, especially as the people next door were listening to the TV until 0400!

The hotel staff were very friendly, the room was clean and very spacious, there was a lot of choice for breakfast, the town was only a few minutes walk away, a very enjoyable stay There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel or its facilities

The hotel was very clean, the room was quite spacious with a huge bed. The staff were very friendly and professional. The breakfasts were cooked to perfection and the waitresses very efficient. The car parking was very handy.

Good location, lovely bathroom. Friendly staff. Annexe accommodation was poor, room number 32 was noisy especially when the room above was occupied .The bed was uncomfortable and wobbly.

We liked the central location and the fact that we could park our car. A bonus in York. Room clean and comfortable. Our room was at the front so a lot of traffic noise.Room very hot and needed window open to cool down which didn't help the noise levels. Breakfast very poor. Scrambled eggs like rubber and generally of poor standard.disappointing.

My room was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel gives easy access to the old city and the hop-on-off bus was just around the corner. The front desk staff were so helpful when I needed information about services like a nearby laundrette and shopping centre. It was a bit noisy at night because my room faced onto the street leading into the city so there was quite a bit of traffic.

Location. Car parking very close to Minster. Layout of hotel. Were expecting restaurant to be open for dinner, but we were told there were no restaurant facilities, as this business was really only a bed and breakfast. However, this was not really a problem, many restaurants nearby.

Everything about the hotel was A1. From the extremely helpful / friendly staff to the comfort of the hotel. Cleanliness was without doubt very good, food excellent. Close to the city centre made it ideal...We will most certainly return to the same hotel when visiting York in the future!

The hotel was very clean, staff were very friendly. The room and en suite were very spacious. Being on the top floor, there were a lot of stairs it was very tiring.
