The Montana

This family-run guest house is close to the Riviera Centre and Torquay's seafront, and just a short stroll to the harbourside with its great selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

All rooms are en suite and have complimentary tea, coffee and toiletries. There is a small licensed bar available for a quiet drink after a day exploring Torbay. Home-cooked evening meals can be made available by prior arrangement.

All rooms are totally non-smoking. For the comfort of all guests, The Montana cannot accept single-sex bookings of more than 3 people. No stag/hen parties please.

At the Montana we pride ourselves in providing good home cooked food using fresh, good quality products. Start the day with one of our excellent breakfasts. We can also provide evening meals by prior arrangement (not in high season).

Area information

The Montana is centrally based in Torquay, in the conservation area of Belgravia, where there are large Victorian buildings. The Montana is a 5 minute walk from the seafront and town centre, and close to the lovely Torre Abbey Gardens and Riviera Centre with all its amenities.

Torbay itself has lots of famous attractions: Kents Caverns underground caves; Living Coasts, Torquay’s coastal zoo; Babbacome Model Village; Paignton Zoo; and Quaywest Water Park to name but a few. There are also all the great local beaches and country parks to see.

For the comfort of all guests, The Montana does not accept bookings from single-sex parties of 3 or more unless by prior arrangement. No stag or hen parties.
