Service was excellent, beautiful building

The rooms are a bit on the small side. Not value for money room wise, but I'd pay for the service!

Stopped two nights and the cleaner never came to so the room till 5 the following eve once we had got back from a busy day shopping which we then had to sit outside our room

Excellent room with everything that a business traveler would need. Huge bed and luxury bedding and pillows. Polite staff and attentive to needs. Great location for business in London; easy for tube to anywhere (from Barbican, five minutes walk away). Last minute rate made it very reasonable cost for the undoubted quality. .

Bedroom was near lift and could hear the automated announcement of every floor! Had to put cotton wool in ears

Expensive on the days we stayed compared to regular rates. Maybe a busy time in London? Food at the hotel restaurants were mediocre. Was expecting more due to reviews we read. We had to send back one of our orders at the Chiswell Dining Room. They were very professional about it and quickly made amends, Our dinner the next night at the Jugged Hare was not much better - though nothing wrong with it - just mediocre. Maybe we expected too much? The service is excellent though!

Friendly service, lovely room, great breakfast. I had a club room which included delicious hors d'oeuvres and great wine in the evening.

Very thoughtful! There are fresh fruits, cookies and water in the room, and complimentary. The concierge is very polite and helpful, provide with easy walking map for where you wanted to visit.

The spa and sauna room is not in the same building. You need to cross the street and tell the reception half an hour before you go. They will only start to turn on the steam.

Staff are excellent, and love the little details in the room: electrical outlets for European ans North American plugs, outlets to charge usb devices, etc. This was our second time, and we'll be back!

The professional approach to clients without any appearance of interference. The staa were both pleasant and efficient and made the stay in the City most enjojable.

Great location in an interesting area. Being a converted brewery, we loved the look of the place. Great places to eat within easy walking distance. Bus stop outside.

Our club room was weeny and dark. Being a conversion meant it was like a rabbit warren, lots of steps. Breakfast was very average. Think you can find better value.

Someone should have avoided giving us rooms 022 and 023, knowing they were directly over a private, evening party held in the hotel. When we returned at night,the music was thudding both in the corridor and inside our rooms. We were moved, which was an inconvenient end to the evening and we probably won't choose this hotel again.

Someone should have known better than to put us in rooms 022 and 023, directly over the thumping music of a private party in the hotel restaurant below. We complained and were moved, but probably won't go back now.

Best experience ever, had a great weekend away with my partner and we will definitely make regular trips there in future

The staff were excellent. Especially Adeel in the club lounge which is a lovely relaxing place to hang out.
