In fact I booked in the Marble Arch Hotel asa five star hotel but in fact when I went to the hotel I found it below the standar and can not be more than 2 stars hotel. I informed them when I checked in that I will leave the hotel next day and I will cancelled the rest of my booking, as I arrived from long trip from L.A. I slept and when I waked up 8 pm I modified my booking with booking.com. The next day when I checked out the lady in the reception asked me to pay extra night I tried to explain but she shouted to me and the treated me so badly. The people there do not know how to react with guest, the hotel so noisy, my room was in the ground floor. I really had bad experience with this hotel I will never forget it. I can not believe that I paid more than 400 pound for such type of hotel. I want to Hayatt Regency the Churchill hotel, and thanks good I found room there without previous booking. Sorrey to say all that, but I really feel bad. Thank you. Every thing in the hotel below the 5 star standar, the hotel it self, the facilities, even the staff do not know how to act with guest, I never met any receptionist shouting to the guess. It is really very very bad experience. I will never recommend this hotel to any body.

The location. And that is all. I have sent a complaint letter to booking.com regarding our stay at the Marble Arch London. It is no where near a 5 star hotel - no foyer to relax in, no hotel bar with atmosphere to have a drink. No services basically. The noise of the bedroom doors slamming and opening all night and early morning meant we hardly slept at all. Overall, it was a total waste of money and we will be telling people never to stay in this hotel - we feel very unhappy.

-location was quite convenient for me since I had my meetings in Mayfair -staff was explicitly positive and ready to help -room had all important amenities one is typically looking for in a hotel -no window in my room (#523) resulting in no fresh air ventilation and no sufficient day light -use of room cleaning detergents with strong dominant smell, which was irritating and reminded of a lacking window -no sufficient number of power sockets, which made simultaneous recharging of yr devices a problem (PC, cell phones, ipad, etc) -no sufficient space in the bathroom for yr personal cosmetics

The room was very small. One does'nt exepect a room that size in a 5 stars hotel. The room and the cupboard might be sufficent for one person not for a couple who intend to stay several days.

Excellent location and good value for money if you get a room with a window with external views and not the hotel hall way! My one complaint is having been given e room with no window. This room is absolutely a disgrace and should not be in use as a hotel room. For the price paid for my stay, it was not good value for money. However I was given another room which was a good deal better and more value for money. I would advise friends to stay at the hotel but also advise them to specify clearly that they require a window with an outside view!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Marble Arch London exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect and the price was reasonable. It was a 5 star accomodation in terms of design and cleanliness. I was anticipating bad attitude from hotel staff as I read many bad travellers' reviews emphasizing on that point through the Booking site. On the opposite staff were friendly and kind and offered help whenever needed. The only drawback of the hotel is the limited facilities which I can mainly consider as a 5 star bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. I would recommend the marble arch london for solo or couple travellers and I think they will love it. What bothered me one morning was the limited help in the breakfast buffet were only one waiter was available and many guests around asking for missing cups, juice refill or coffee. One waiter was overwhelmed and people were complaining including myself were i decided to skip breakfast and bought coffe and a sandwich from a nearby coffee shop.

The stay at The Marble Arch was terrible. Quite simply the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was so small we could not easily walk around the bed. The room service was a joke. The staff really didn't care - as we had paid in advance. The only thing good about this hotel was its location, but I would never stay here again. The room was too small. The room service took 55 minutes to arrive for one simple plate of pasta. No toilet roll or tissues. The staff didn't care that we were unhappy, even though the stay was booked as a special treat for my daughter. The worst hotel ever.

The staff were incredible.....couldn't do enough for you which was lovely. The location was just off Oxford st so the location was perfect. I paid 144£/night as a special rate so I think I received what I paid for as hotels are expensive in London. I was in a single room which I had requested for the special rate...a very very tiny single room..so tiny if the bathroom door was open there was no place to put the suitcase. The room couldn't have had any soundproofing as I heard every person walking down the hall to the breakfast room as well as every late person who came in. Also the room was coated in some type of protectant so made everything super slippery.

The most thing I liked about this hotel is the Location. It is located just 5 minutes walk from the busy Oxford Street and you have lots of supermarkets around you which opens till late midnight. The Staff is very friendly with good knowledge about attractions and directions in London and around it and will be at your service when you need them. The rooms are a bit small but that is a typical uk standard as I noticed from my several visits to uk hotels.

Conveniently located near Hyde Park and Oxford St. Provided a very small room in the basement with a major moth issue. Shower drain clogged and I had to repeatedly turn off the water to prevent it from going over the edge and all over the bathroom floor. This was the first time in 3 years Booking.com mislead me based on the rating, number of stars for the hotel and reviews. Extremely disappointed.

“Perfect location for shopping and sightseeing. Room was very pleasant at 8th floor, calm and light. Comfortable beds, clean floor carpet and good space. Nice, clean bathroom. Elegant reception area with sofa groups. Enjoyed the breakfast and a good dinner meal at the hotel in the evenings. All hotel staff members we met were professional and very friendly. Thistle Marble Arch a natural choice next time visiting London.” Liv, Hommersåk |
