Food & beverage
The restaurant features vibrant colours, silk blinds, window seat and fun artwork but maintains the quality hallmarks of The Morritt with the original oak panelling and wood block flooring. The Morritt restaurant offers a relaxed and informal atmosphere with a contemporary menu featuring the best of local and continental produce.
There are a choice of eating areas, whether your choice be the delightful restaurant, the bistro, or during the summer months, you may choose to have your meal sitting in the beautiful landscaped gardens. The backdrop from here has proved inspirational for many known writers and artists, Charles Dickens being just one!
The Dickens Bar is very much a traditional bar in a traditional setting, with its famous mural painted by Gilroy. What could be nicer in those cooler winter months than sitting by the roaring log fire whilst enjoying a pint from the selection of local ales on offer?
